I remember them the most from Disney's Sing Along Songs Disneyland Fun from 1990.

I've always wanted a ticketed event where it dumps a handful of people on Tom Sawyer's Island at night and the Country Bears chase you like in this video. I can hear the screams.

Yes, this is different than Hoedown.

Does this mean like it did in the 90s? That characters aren't forced to stand in one location, and they can actually walk around?

It would be nice to have them roam like they use to, but the problem lately I've noticed is if they roam there usually isn't a photographer with them. Just would be nice to have when you're spending money on memory maker.

Nope...Pooh took over the CBJ Playhouse....But, there is a nod to the attraction in the ride after the Heffelumps & Woozles Sequence...Turn around a look up...Take a flash picture and Max, Buff & Melvin are there..Although some state it's the AA's from the long lost Mile Long Bar...

For the record, the Country Bears do meet during MVMCP. However, they do not sign during MVMCP, and it was probably a roaming meet and greet as well.

Oh cool! Just in time for Gay Days. I am pretty sure that the bears are going to have quite a lot of Bears from our community lining up to take pics with them. Makes me wish that I had scheduled to go to Gay Days this year, because the Bear community is a hoot when they go to CBJ.

Country Bars got replaced for the Pooh ride.

Back around 2006 you could meet Brer Bear and Fox and in Adventureland Hook and Smee. Pinocchio in Town Square. Lots of cuts to characters over the years.

I remember that distinctly. Met Pinocchio and Gideon in Town Square and Hook and Smee next to Tortuga Tavern.

Totally Agreed. When I was a kid, I thought the bears were terrifying. Needless to say, I was very happy when Disney pulled them from their regular character rotation. Now I guess they're back to scare a whole new generation of children.
