Party of... one?

I just made reservations for next month for a solo trip. I was thinking about scheduling a few ADRs just to break up the day and not have to eat QS the entire time. I know a lot of places would have room at bars for one, but what are your favorite places or places you think I should look in to doing by myself?

Speaking from experience, I did a solo ADR at Tony's Town Square last year and it was okay. The food is already meh. I just wanted a cold place to sit for an hour, so that did work out.

In the future, I'd think about solo ADRs for Yak and Yeti at AK just to enjoy another Yak Attack by myself.
At Epcot, I'd probably do San Angel Inn or Restaurant Marrakesh.
In MK, the Plaza Restaurant is perfect for solo dining. Small, cozy, etc.
The bar at the Yacht Club, Crew's Cup Lounge is really nice.

mama melrose at HS might not be a bad idea. been there twice & found the atmosphere pleasant. maybe raglan road at DS. it can get noisy in there, but you'll have live dancing & singing. enjoy your trip.

So I have never done a solo trip but the DH and I went down just the 2 of us and had dinner at Teppan Edo. We were seated with a mix of people including a solo diner. He was seated on my DH's left and we sat and talked to him all though out dinner. I don't remember his name but he had some great stories and we had a good time.

Most of my trips are solo. I've eaten at Brown Derby solo and enjoyed watching the other diners (and the food, of course!). Would never hesitate to eat solo at any restaurant on property, unless it was one of the family style all you can eat (LTT or Garden Grill), since I'd feel I had to eat all that food myself so it wouldn't go to waste. Just don't let the host/hostess sit you near the kitchen or another bad spot just because you're dining as one.

Raglan Road would be a great place - good food, great entertainment and if you sit at the bar, you will not be lacking interaction with fellow diners...some however might be a tad ed..... :)

ETA: And as a last resort, there's always a hotdog from Casey's..... yum

Yeah I think I'm definitely going to eat at the bar at Raglan Road. Do I need an adr for that? I'm also thinking tutto gusto now for my Epcot day.

I did Tiffins and Monsieur Paul solo last September. While Monsieur Paul was delicious it was a bit awkward since my waiter was over attentive, and the restaurant was pretty dead. Tiffins was fantastic, my server was friendly and personable and I had a nice conversation with the front of house manager.

i don't think u need an ADR to sit at the bar for raglan road. i'm pretty sure i've seen some people go in right away if they didn't mind sitting there.

I echo everyone's suggestion on leaning towards bars. With that said here's some suggestion around where you're going to be based on your ADRs:

May 30th: Crew Cup Lounge. Pretty good menu (clam chowder is very good) and it has a bar you can probably get a seat at easily) It's in the Yacht Club right down the hall from the Grille
May 31st: MK is a bit dicey, not a lot of good "eating" bars in the area. After 8 you could probably do Citricos. It's fancy though. If your looking for a restaurant to go solo at in the area, I'll admit I'm at a bit of a loss on this one
June 1st: Sanaa has a bar, but keep this reservation. Be adventurous! Say good things about it!
June 2nd: Definitely mill around Disney Springs and just pop into various places.

Have a great time!

The chicken parm is very good - that's what I usually order.
This is better.

Ohana. I have dined there solo numerous times. Just request to not sit in the middle but along the wall.

Also for many places if you select 1 diner, it will show no availability. Always select 2 and you can update when you check in
