It most likely will be happening. You're taking a bit of a tone-deaf stance to tech it seems. The same thing was said about robotic workers (automated assembly lines), space travel, and self-driving cars. It's going to happen.

Now, are they talking more so on the lines of actual humanoids or just glorifying standard animatronics with higher technological specs is my question.

And if this does go through, bring The TimeKeeper back into existence and have a meet and greet with him along with Nine-Eye.

No way whatsoever...
Same way there was no way that we'd be able to communicate across the globe with something that fits in our pocket...or even on our wrist! Impossible! :)

Technology is increasing faster than it ever has and this isn't far off...to me, this is an evolutionary step, not revolutionary. Evolutionary steps are a lot easier to achieve.

So I can see this one of 2 ways
Either this could be part of a ride, interacting with children could be part of a ride or an experience. maybe shaking hands or huggable or just talks and moves more.
What it could also be is a meet and greet with a human.. so tigger and Christopher robin are people but pooh (correctly sized for the first time ever) could be a robot..... so they could shut him off at anytime or stop anything..... but the real issue is someone could just pick him up, or break him or knock him over and it wouldnt be durable enough or if hes knocked over loses the effect.

What would be cool is part of a parade if we could have Winnie the pooh, stitch, etc that are supposed to be 2 foot tall or something actually that size instead of six foot tall stitch (some characters are kind of scary) or a walking on four legs pluto.... only robotics give you that.. but I cant see they working while being touchable. I can only imagine this where they are behind a rope or boundary. (sorry got off topic)

Now that I think of it... (I was distracted by pooh) how about pluto or stitch... where you can walk over and pet them. They could be sitting there like your dog or cat and they could make sounds or move towards your hand like your dog or cat. Once again mickey with pluto or lilo with stitch (or a "handler")
