    Please Pass the Napkins

Try it in a rented pirate costume...brings the level of difficulty up to about a 9.

    Please Pass the Napkins

I fought one hell of a messy burger with loads of toppings from Pecos Bill's whilst wearing a Pirate costume during last years MNSSHP. Napkins really were there just for show. Needed something along the lines of a pressure washer to get my face and hands clean.

    Contemporary Conundrum

After staying at the Contemporary I didn't feel it was sterile...it was just more along the lines of staying at one of the "good neighbor" hotels near Downtown Disney. It's void of theme, which isn't always a bad thing. Would I stay in it over Poly or GF, probably not, but that's just me. But...

    Port Orleans FQ vs Riverside???

After staying at both, I'm finding it hard to come up with reasons to stay at Riverside over FQ. I'd rather keep $200 in my pocket, stay at FQ, get on a half full bus to and from the parks, and not have to walk a quarter-mile back to my room. Riverside is very pretty, but if I'm looking to...

    Deep Fried Delights..!!!

This is a bit simple, but it's hard to beat a Corn Dog at Westward Ho Refreshments in Frontierland.

What and where is The Plaza Restruant in MK??

The Plaza is a hidden gem. Definitely needs more love than it gets.

So here's what I have so far!

Could not agree more, they need to take a huge wrecking ball to Planet Hollywood. Terrible terrible food. Raglan Road or Paradiso 37 are far better choices in that area.

    Packing?? When??

Typically start packing about 2 weeks prior. At least that's when we start making lists of what we need to bring. Typically completely packed with about 2 days to go.

    Help me decide

Photopass + was a massive benefit on our last trip. Since it was only 2 of us, we were able to get in all of the pictures and didn't need to carry another camera. We used our iPhones for all other pictures. We will absolutely use it again.

Tell me about food and wine festival!

    1. Go on a weekday, with the exception of Friday. That way you're able to avoid the locals coming out to "tie one on" over the weekend. We had zero issues with the inebriated during the weekdays. 2. If you're going strictly to Epcot for F & W; it will take 2 days to experience the festival...

    Top 10

    1. Scat Cat Club (will miss Elliot Dyson) 2. Bluezoo Lounge 3. Paradiso 37 4. House of Blues 5. River Roost 6. Tune-In Lounge 7. Rose and Crown 8. Fuego (we don't smoke anymore...but it's still a great bar with strong drinks) 9. Mizner's Lounge (when I'm feelin' fancy) 10. Raglan Road...

    Worst Meal at WDW

Not sure if this counts as an actual meal, but the Sukiyaki Beef Pan from the Japan booth during last year's Food and Wine Festival was pretty gross.

    Battle Of The Cocktails!

My vote goes to Serenity at Bluezoo in the Dolphin. Square One Cucumber Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Muddled Fresh Strawberries, Basil, Rosemary, Fresh Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice, and Rock Candy Syrup.

    When Is A Pie,Not A Pie.!

Loved the Lobster and Scallop Fisherman's Pie from the Ireland booth at the Food and Wine Festival last year. Here's the Disney Food Blog recipe: Lobster and Scallop Fisherman's Pie Was like a warm blanket of seafoodie goodness.

    Haters Be Hatin?

This is a great topic. I thought I was the only one that felt like I was being judged for my choice of vacation destination. I've been very fortunate when I was growing up to be able to travel a lot with my family, both domestic and international. I loved all of those trips. But the place that...

    Disney Status Award.!

I know! I'm sorry! I'm not saying that the Dole Whip isn't awesome and doesn't have it's place in Disney Food Lore, but I just think some love needs to be bestowed upon the humble Citrus Swirl.

    Disney Status Award.!

I'm going to buck the trend and give my vote to the Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace. Before I'm mocked for my vote, hear me out. The Dole Whip is not exclusive to WDW. As it states on the Dole Whip Wikipedia page, it can also be found Lappert's Ice Cream stores and Menchies Frozen...
