Good Morning Food Lovers..Today,here in the UK,it has been announced that the Charles Macleod black pudding from the island of Stornoway has been officially granted a status symbol. This is a huge award in the UK food business. But if you were to nominate just one thing at WDW that symbolises Disney, something you can only get at Disney and not anywhere else. What would it be.? For me I would have given my award to my favourite Magic Cookie bar,but I believe there available elsewhere in America as the 7 layer cake,:( So I'am opting for the Pineapple Dole Whip..Now if these are available in other states across America, then I apologise. But I think they represent Disney and deserve a status symbol award..Over to you folks..P.S. It's a food award Figgy, not drink.;)

The Grey Goose slushie. I swear it must be 1/2 pixie dust and 1/2 pure Disney magic!
Ok.Thats it..Ive just googled this bloody big goose and it says " it's an iconic drink served in France at Epcot".. Recipe they gave for it was...2oz pour of Grey Goose vodka, juice of one lemon, juice of one lime, teaspoon of sugar, cup of ice..Put into a blender and zap the bird..Well just by chance I have a lemon & lime in my fridge doing Nout. And plenty of Vodka ( Smirnoff ) So tonight I'am gonna make me one of these and I'll report later..P.S. No way am I buying the French vodka at $50 a bottle. ;)

I'm going to buck the trend and give my vote to the Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace. Before I'm mocked for my vote, hear me out.

The Dole Whip is not exclusive to WDW. As it states on the Dole Whip Wikipedia page, it can also be found Lappert's Ice Cream stores and Menchies Frozen Yogurt and in 2013 its now available Six Flags theme parks (seriously, who wastes their money at Six Flags when you have WDW?).

There is also a Dole Whip food stand at the Minnesota State Fair in late August - Early September

The Citrus Swirl however is exclusive to WDW.

I know! I'm sorry! I'm not saying that the Dole Whip isn't awesome and doesn't have it's place in Disney Food Lore, but I just think some love needs to be bestowed upon the humble Citrus Swirl.
I've never tried it but its been on my list since it's return. I just can't seem to try one over a Dole Whip Float but based on your vote, I'll make it a must-do.
