What and where is The Plaza Restruant in MK??

I wanted to say that if you are paying out of pocket, this is a great TS restaurant in terms of value. The prices are quite a bit lower than other TS options. If you are on the DDP, you don't get as much cost-wise from using a TS credit there but I wouldn't let that stop you from giving it a try.

Well said. Good, but doesn't feel worth a table service credit on the DDP. The food is good, the place is nice but it's kind of a glorified counter service

I love the club sandwich and milkshakes. My DD ordered apples with her child's meal and they actually brought a small plate of cut green apples. Enough for three of us to share as an appetizer.

I love the Plaza! Great place for lunch. The sandwiches are good and the sundaes are to die for! I love sitting by the window and watching Main St. It's a lovely place to take a break during the heat of the day. If you don't want lunch, just stop in for sundaes.

It's kinda "tucked away" in a corner. It's small, but the sandwiches and ice cream are delicious!

We been here on our past 3 trips. It's great! Sandwiches are big and quite tasty, beats the typical hot dog, burget or chicken fingers. Make sure you save room for dessert. We pay for it and use the extra credit to eat at CRT.

I'm liking all these positive reviews since we are eating dinner there in a couple weeks. The menu looks pretty basic but the pictures I've seen of the food look quite good!

The Plaza is always a must do for us. It's great no frills, comfortable food. It feels like you are stepping into a small town restaraunt with a ice cream shop. Very friendly staff, good sized servings, and highly predictable quality. We always pay out of pocket here as it is reasonably priced, especially for Disney. This works out great, as we always eat at CRT which uses two of our DDP credits and we pay oop here.

Love it! And the service is superb -- have gone almost every trip for years and years, and for most of those years its the same servers, so clearly they are happy and love working there. Its quiet, relaxed, the food is very good, and its a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle 20 feet away outside the front window...

Good! I would say if you are paying out of pocket - its good food for a good value. I don't' think it is worth a TS credit though. Here are some pics:

So all I have to say is for the value it was awesome. The food was good priced and very tasty. The desserts are huge. Very good stuff.

It is a little Edwardian piece of joy near the ice cream parlor. I love that it is like on the borderline of Main Street and Tomorrowland. It is tucked away but you have a nice little view of the castle and the hub.

Only one word. Cheesesteak. If you like cheesesteaks, this is pretty good. I won't order anything else. White American, toasty/soft hoagie bread, steak is good, and diced red and green peppers and onions. Nice, not greasy and very tasty. It has a nice little tang due to the White American cheese. Also, the fries are different than the standard park ones. Like steak cut fries.

Love this place. It is so sweet and nostalgic.

We ate there Saturday night for the first time. Loved it! Will go back on most trips. Most only because it is becoming more difficult to choose places. We still like Pecos Bills, Starlight, and Casey's. Throw in Be Our Guest lunch service and we are now up to too many restaurants and not enough meals to eat at them without spending two days or more at the MK (we usually spend a day or a day-and-a-half at MK in a 3-7 day trip).
