Boardwalk cocktail suggestions?

I will be going to hang out at the Boardwalk and I will be solo.
Where is a good place for me to stop and relax with a cocktail?
It will be late afternoon/early evening, and I don't want to go to anyplace super crowded.

My favorite bar to relax and have a drink is the Bellvue Room right off the lobby and they make one of the best Bloody Mary's I have ever had so give it a shot. Otherwise you can get a frozen margarita and other drinks from Boardwalk Joe's which is on the boardwalk just outside of Kouzzina and find a seat along the water and enjoy!

You can pick-up something at Boardwalk Joe's and then relax on the Boardwalk. I like the Wildberry Margarita and the Frozen Pineapple Margarita.

My wife and I found the lounge last year for the first time and it was great! It has a very laid back feeling with old radios playing shows from the 30s. A really great place to kick back.

Agree with going to Bellvue Room. Depending on how ambitious you are you can take a walk around the lake and stop off at Hurricane Hannahs right off the walking path by Beach Club, get a cocktail and keep walking around back to the boardwalk. It's a nice way we relax when we go.

Bellvue Lounge @ the Boardwalk definitely. Ask to try a drink called the Shadow. It was a specialty drink that was specific to the Bellvue and they took it off their published menu a while back, but they can still make it for you. Here is the recipe if you may be interested.

The Shadow drink recipe: 1 part Chambord, 1 part Godiva chocolate liqueur, 1 part Stoli Vanilla vodka and 2 parts heavy cream. Roll to combine and serve over ice

You could always belly up to the pool bar around the Villas side of the resort (behind the gift shop and Jellyrolls) and watch all manner of tourists be vomited out of a clown's head. That's always fun.
