This is my favorite as well. We usually stay at YC and spend lots of time in Epcot, so we are frequently entering and exiting the park through the International Gateway. I love that whole area there and that bathroom gets my vote.

One more plug for Jiko. We've tried all the high end restaurants at WDW multiple times (except V&A) and Jiko is without a doubt our favorite. On our recent trip, Jiko was once again the best meal of the trip. Great wine list (all South African wines) and just a beautiful restaurant.

Concierge service at AKL is great and worth the extra money. They do a great job of contacting you ahead of the trip to help make arrangements (better than the Yacht Club which I also have experience). The AKL concierge lounge is awesome; it's up on the sixth floor and overlooks the lobby and...

One more thing about valet parking - the $6/day applies no matter how many resorts you valet at in one day. Thus, for example, if you stay at the Yacht Club and then drive your car to the Grand Floridian for dinner or something and valet at both places, there is only one $6 charge. I wonder...

I agree. We were at WDW last week and went to Artist Point one night for dinner - while we were waiting for the valet to bring the car around. the music playing in the lobby was definitely from Last of the Mohicans. Great stuff!

I certainly agree with this. In fact, we have visited AKL twice, both times on the concierge level. When we checked in for our second trip, the staff had left a "welcome back" present to us of a CD of African music, which I now listen to all the time. It's not the same music that is played in...

AKL is a great hotel. It is just beautiful, with wonderful theming, fine restaurants and lounges and a very nice pool. Definitely get a savannah room if that is in the budget, because it is great to sit out on your balcony and watch the animals. Boma is pretty good, but Jiko is better...

Don't know for sure, but guessing late morning (11:00?). It's not open for breakfast, that much I do know. Would not expect Sunday hours to be different than any other day.

They should certainly return calls sooner than that. Usually when I have called the Yacht Club concierge, I will get a return phone call within a few hours, or a day at most. I would definitely try management at the hotel to get a return phone call. If possible, send them an e-mail...
