That uncontrolable happiness

Just woke up this morning realizing my WDW trip was only 9 days away! I really dont mean to rub it in, but this unbelievable feeling of happiness came over me. I woke up, not tired, but full of energy, and singing "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah." I can hardly imagine what I'll be like next Monday when we actually go!

Any one know that pre-Disney feeling I'm talking about? it kinda makes you forget about all the bad stuff about the Disney Co. and just remember how truely magical it can be, and the indescribable joy it brings to those who still believe in wishing upon a star. 9 DAYS!!!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Yeah, I know the feeling. I kind of go in "stages"

About 2 months before a trip, I really start to hit wdwmagic on a daily basis.

About 1 month before, I will start thinking about it every day and continue to get more & more excited.

About 2 weeks before I start to listen to park music and think about that first morning at MK.

Now.....5 days before we leave, I really start to get ready. I will get stuff ready to take, watch our home movies, look at pics, and go into an absolute Disney-craze.

This week is always the longest too......but Thursday night, Pop Century here I come!!

I know exactly how you feel. The last trip I made to WDW, I was so excited, I sent weekly count-down emails out to the group of friends I was going with....saying "YIPPEE...only 4 weeks to WDW!" ect. They were sent out on Disney e-cards, of course.

I started checking the events schedule, and our little travel group would have Disney Meetings to talk about what we all wanted to do, and make a plan for our week there.

I am hoping to be able to make a trip to WDW this December...we'll see.

but the thing is you could chat to your friends about it

we are 281 days away and my lady is already sick and tired of me talking about it all the time , as i said earlier she hasnt been yet so is not a believer ---yet.

i keep going over in my mind every move from arriving at the airport in the uk to the first step into CBR then the big one the first time we all step out on main street together:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :

then mandy will realise what i have been gonig on about and my smile will grow even bigger.
i am now retired, at 51 because of illness, but when i was at work any stress or worries to do with running my buisness just melted the minute you stepped onto mainstreet and never returned till the plane landed in the uk

wdw THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

AMEN!

I feel you! Our trip won't be until the last weekend in Novemeber, but I'm already being on my best behavior.

One of my goals is to lose weight before we go (hopefully, Typhoon Lagoon will be open like it was last year! It was GREAT!). Gotta look killer in my swimsuit! Last year, I lost 55lbs before the trip! :) I haven't gained any back and have another 38 to go (lost 2 more lbs this week)! :)

So if any of you are in Disneyworld during the week of Decemeber first, look out for that Southeren California Blond Bombshell in the wave pool! ( And I do mean "look out!" becuase my DH is a martial artist!).
He he he!

Last year, we took friends (we go for our anniversary). This year, it'll probably just be the two of us. We SO need some couple time and reliving our honeymoon is the best way!

My family got REAL tired of hearing about disney all the time too, before we went...after their first trip there, they were as hooked as I was :)

Until that happens for you, hang out here...we always love to talk disney!!!

It's three more days for us (Feb 11 - 18). We started packing the suitcases yesterday and are bursting at the seams with excitement. My four year old keeps running around the house saying, "I can't wait to go to DisneyWorld!"

And, to make things even better, the weather reports for our trip have turned in a positive direction - forecasts that were highs in the 60s for the first couple days now show highs in the low 70s. I know these reports can't be trusted and change every 15 minutes, but at least for now that makes me happy!

We know how you feel here!! We just wish that May would hurry up and get here. We have 102 days and it's killing us. I usually start making the lists around this time. And of course we read the guide books (even though we have read them a 100 times) and look at the pics from the last trip. Can't wait!!!:sohappy: Last trip it was my husband that drove us all crazy with talking about the trip, this time it's me!!

Every one have fun on your trips!

Yeah, my dates are just starting to come up in the 10 day forecast, and so far the first day at MK looks favorable (partly cloudy, 74!) Certainly an emprovement on boston which will be 37. But your right they change so often that its hard to get your hopes up!

318 days here, but knowing it's coming is good enough. This September, when I start the school year, I'll be flying high just counting the days until Christmas Break!

(Don't tell the students that teachers feel the same way they do.)

I know that exact feeling. I know that my next trip won't be until the end of 2005 when Hubby and I move to Orlando and I wish I was there right now. Usually right after I book my trip I hit all the Web Sites that I can find scoping out new disney info. My husband thinks I am out of my mind, but I will say this for our lasrip I did this and he was purely surprised all that we were able to do in just 7 days.

how i envy you guys who live in the states for us to get there this is the trip

home to airport
leave at approx 3 am 3-5 hour taxi ride depending on trafic

arrive at airport 8 am the required 3 hours before the flight

hang around for 3 hours with all the other parents with fed up screaming kids

11 am ish board plane

9 hours on plane

2 hours to get through orlando airport and collect bags i am told is the norm now for uk visitors

then within an hour we should arrive in our rooms at the caribean beach resort !!!!:king: :king: :king:

not to mention that this time because of needing a little extra space in the plane for our disabled daughter we are traveling upper class so the cost of the flight is over £5,000=$8850

now im sure you can see why we are staying for 4 weeks this time !!

but still i cant wait :sohappy: :sohappy:

The travel time sounds miserable, but to stay for 4 weeks! That would be fabulous!!

Door - to - door from Michigan is about 7 hour travel time, which I was complaining about earlier today. You have helped me put that in perspective.
