I agree, doing the world solo is great. My dad got really sick one day of my last trip, and after taking care of him, I had an afternoon to do what I wanted with while he rested. I went to the MK alone, and had a great time. I'm not that outgoing, so I didn't really have the great conversations...

I have a heel spur, and I swear by Crocs. I wore crocs sandals my last trip and had no problems.

I never use Disney buses. I tried using them to the MK the year I stayed at BWI, but after 2 lengthy trips/waits, I used my car the rest of the trip. If I can't get there by monorail or boat, I drive.

To make an online reservation, I would assume you need to register with a username and email address, like you do here. The system would not let you book another ADR within a certain window. or at least this is how I imagine it would be. I'm sure some people will find a way around it.

If it's about maximizing the magic, then the longer the trip is the better trip. If it's about who you're going with.. well, that's something you have to decide.

All the Epcot resorts have boats to DHS and Epcot: Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Yacht Club and Swan/Dolphin. POR and POFQ have a boat, but it only goes to downtown Disney. Wilderness Lodge has a boat to the MK.

I can't remember where I heard it, or I'd give you a link. But I heard that it will be replaced by a different tinkerbell effect. The source didn't want to give away exactly what happens, so I don't know what it is myself. I wish I could remember more. :shrug:
