(Photos fixed) A look at the new Treehouse Villas buildings and boat dock

We thought it was interesting that the three bedroom treehouses are being offered for the same amount of points as two bedroom units in other DVC resorts. Makes ya feel like you're getting a deal somehow.

    Housekeeping

I feel they're better than average hotel rooms. You would have to stay at a deluxe resort to have a private balcony but all DVC accomodations have private balconies. It's a nice feature. Plus they're a little roomier than the average hotel room...most average hotel rooms do not include full...

    Disney ROFR on Resales

My parents just bought a resale and they got Disney's response in less than a week, maybe 4-5 days. We were surprised how quick it was as we were told it could take 30 days. Last night we started planning our first DVC trip!

What is your favorite must have souvenir??

    1. our refillable mugs...they're taking over the kitchen cabinet 2. the official music album (a lot of repeat songs but we still have to buy it every visit = once every few years) 3. photopass...we take pics everywhere with it and then buy the cd when we get home

    Too Affordable/Good to be True?

Thanks Everyone Thanks all for the info and opinions. It makes sense that if we always want to go to WDW, we should buy into a DVC at that site. I would be worried that the Vero Beach plans could be sold to another large timeshare carrier if the economy continues on it's downslide. We're...

    Too Affordable/Good to be True?

Hi All. Just wanted some opinions on this. I was looking at DVC resales today on The Timeshare Store, Inc site. I noticed that Vero Beach resales are as cheap at $62 per point. I was thinking of maybe buying a plan for Vero Beach but using it at WDW DVC resorts. We have no interest in...

Suit: Disney's Tower of Terror gave British teen heart attack, stroke

lol does that make me a member of the mounted offended division? I'm not sure if this post supports my post or contradicts it. Thanks to unkadug for explaining that this is an ongoing inside jokefrom a different thread. I didn't mean to get anyone's hackles up.

Suit: Disney's Tower of Terror gave British teen heart attack, stroke

Perhaps you're just kidding and I'm not familiar enough to recognize it. Otherwise, your ignorance merits a response. FYI: carpets are oriental, people are Asian

have you ever had something and disney and tried to make it at home?

After he had the Banana Bread Pudding at the Toll House Bakery on Main Street USA, my hubby sent me on a mission to find the recipe. I located it on AllEars.net and have made it twice. It's amazing warm with vanilla ice cream.

Did I Really Just See That.....in Disney World?????

At MNSSHP Halloween night 07, we witnessed a beating by the underpass between Fantasyland and Lib Square. We were standing by the restrooms behind PP'sFlight taking turns in the restroom when we heard a middle aged woman yelling "take me home!". She did not appear to be hurt and at no point in...

Live streaming webcam at WDW till June 8!!!

The live streamer said they would give us a room tour at noon eastern time but nothing so far. Needless to say I'm not getting much work done today...lol.

Live streaming webcam at WDW till June 8!!!

It is quiet. Nice to hear the BGM and the tweeting birds though. I look forward to tonight when we get to watch RoE instead of the empty boardwalk. Very cool that someone would do this and give others the option to share in a little of the magic. I know these folks will take their webcam down...

    Fantasmic

I guess it's personal choice. We love it..in fact we try to see it twice when we're at the World. We don't make an ADR the nights we want to see Fantasmic and instead pick up a snack before we go in. Yes, the benches aren't comfortable (particularly if you have back issues), but we have our...

What's so great about refillable mugs anyway?

I guess we're in the minority here, but we love the mugs. We only get to go to WDW every few years and having the mugs brings a little bit of the magic back home. Plus, they're durable, diswasher safe, and plastic...which works out for me because I'm a clutz and tend to drop breakable things...

    Embarrassing Disney Stories!

Two incidents from our most recent trip in Nov 07, which was also our honeymoon. The first occurred early one morning as my new DH and I waited through the opening festivities at Epcot, then made a beeline to Soarin'. Most ppl had the same idea and we were in the first ten ppl at the head of...

Replacement for Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club?!?

Wonder if this will have any impact on the high end tequila bar idea for the Mexico Pavilion? Either way, we always look forward to restaurants with this type of theming and food. :slurp: Thanks for the info.

    What are your disney TRADITIONS????

Our first day is always MK also. We eat dinner at Cosmic Ray's, sit at the same table (if poss.) in the back and have to listen to one full Sonny Eclipse set. It's corny, but my DH loves it!
