Yep, in the fall just have a sweatshirt in case it gets a little cool, other than that the weather is quite nice!

I don't think crowds will be that bad when you are going. As for the resort, I'd stay close to places you want to be. For us, we stay in the Boardwalk area because we like being close to those parks. If you've never had a problem at POFQ then why switch?

IIRC, there is a 24 hour self service cafe in the basement.

The current movie is really well done. Maybe they can keep the movie but update the projectors etc.

A little late posting here, but we stayed at the Carousel Inn and Suites and it was great. Pool on the roof is cool and it was a 3min walk to either park. http://www.carouselinnandsuites.com/

Disneyland is awesome! Not like WDW but certainly some different things to do at the MK and DCA. Like others have said, stay off property, you can walk to the hotels. We stayed at the Carousel Inn and Suites and it was first rate!
