I doubt it's new as much as it's a case of the water cannon not working properly. For my entire CP in Fall of 08 it was pretty much identical to the video with the water missing the log, and it was because it was broken.

Nope. Every year the ride is closed for a month, and they never do anything significant (except for last year when they added terrible new lighting). And for some reason one of the imagineers finds it necessary for the organ in the showboat scene to be incredibly loud. I guess it's asking too...

I agree with this. In general, while Journey Into Your Imagination was atrocious and worse than version 3, the ride did seem less cheap and more planned out than the current one. It's understandable I guess considering the current version was done with an even smaller budget.

I'm going to have to side with Hyperion Wharf supporters on this one. Pleasure Island was always awkward to walk around, and since most of it was clubs, it was a useless space during the majority of the day. I can understand Disney's desire to improve the aesthetics of the area so that guests...

You're absolutely correct. The screens really have nothing to do with anything up until that point. And Dench's "Let's have some fun" is basically their way of admitting the screens are a joke.
