Thanks Worldphile! Good to know. I´ve always been in FL during summertime, so I know the hurricane season - but I never thought there would be an actual winter in the sunshine state. I think I will postpone my travel plans to march or april! -Henning

    Bbbbrrrrr!!!!!

Hi locals! Is it "normal" that it gets that cold in FL at this time of year? I was thinking about going to WDW in december next year - maybe I should think over these plans again. WDW without Typhoon Lagoon would be half the fun for me!!! -Henning

    Moteurs Action

There are obviously more than one versions of the red car. At least one of these versions is built to be driven backwards, i.e. the driver´s seat is facing backwards and probably the whole gear box is turned around! I only have my knowledge from watching the show....so if there are any...

    Moteurs Action

Hi! While the black cars being used at moteurs action are "Opel Corsa", the red car (that can be driven backwards really fast) isn´t a "normal" Opel. It might be based on the "Opel Sportster" or the "Opel Tigra" though, but it isn´t sold that way by Opel (not even in a forward driving version...

Hi! After I have packed my bags, I always watch a Disney vacation planner video (they had free ones a couple of years ago). That brings me into a great Disney-mood.... -Henning

    Describe your perfect WDW day

My turn! I´d have a great breakfast at the "Yacht Club Galley" - buffett of course. Then I´d take the boat to the Studios and ride some of my/your favorite rides. Then right at the time when my feet begin to hurt I´ll take a bus to Typhoon Lagoon, take my shirt off, catch a tube and do...

Small world to be gone for good??

....also I have had this kind of dream where you are inside "It´s a small world, see the dolls, hear their song - and suddenly you discover the baseball-bat in your hand!" :hammer: :D I would be pleased if you could make me a member of the "IASW dolls and doll protectors".... It´s...

    Fixing Epcot

...good point: Fits in the EPCOT-theme, plenty of atmosphere and (let´s hope) thrill. The only thing that we have to wait for is whether it will break down frequently or not :animwink: Rides like that might be the solution to the EPCOT-problem! -Henning

    Fixing Epcot

Hi all! I think the "EPCOT-problem" is that imagineergurls post isn´t just a silly post: That´s what many people think about EPCOT (I don´t - but I´m a freak concerning EPCOT). People just want thrill rides and pure fun and don´t need to much atmosphere and daring new technologies (@...

Eurodisney seen diving to a loss with new park

Hi! Isn´t that exactly what we saw when DLRP first opened. Seems we Europeans always need a few years to accept a new Disney Park. I just hope that the Studios will work out better in the future (not only because I have Eurodisney-shares, but also because I would love to see a third park in...

Small world to be gone for good??

...I was talking to a CM about IASW when I was at WDW four weeks ago, because I thought that - compared to the Paris version - it could need a major rehab. She told me that there was some planning for smaller rehabs.....I don´t think they what plan smaller rehabs if they wanted to "kill" it...

    Fixing Epcot

Hi! @imagineergurl: Pretty impressive Disney-record in your signature (and I don´t mean the twisted ankles) *smile* I don´t know about the thrill rides. I admitt that they´ll need one or two thrill rides at EPCOT to get the attendance higher. But after all that´s not really what EPCOT is...
