  • hi there, you might be able to help me out, my new thread is in the resorts and trip planning segment thanks
    Pixy;

    Thanks for the offer. And I`m glad you like my hobby!

    I`m really looking for media showing the state of the (unbuilt) park and resort back then. Something that most guests wouldn`t think about shooting. Thanks anyway!

    There are plenty of companies that can transfer film to DVD; if you`re not up to doing it yourself (time consuming and hit and miss) you could google cine to dvd or something similar in your area.

    Cheers,
    Martin
    Question about your website, which is AMAZING. My first visit to WDW was in 1973. Mom and dad had a "moviecamera" back then that taped video but no audio. You feed the film through a projector and cast it on a screen. I have mainly video of the characters - Big Bad Wolf, Three Pigs, etc and of the parade. Would any of this be of value to you?

    And as an aside, are there any companies out there that can take this old film and put it on DVD? I'd love to be able to watch it, and honestly think it would be a great Christmas gift for my parents - they even have their wedding in 1966 filmed.

    I would imagine it would be much easier to send the film to you, should you find it useful, if it were in a more modern state than it currently is!

    There are a few areas classed as suitable to build on; north of WWOS, east of the MK toll booth, the far west area by the beltway, south of FW and west of the MK. All these plots could be big enough for a park.
    I was looking at the maps provided by the Reedy Creek site. So I'm wondering. They said there's still about 6,000 acres that haven't been used all together that could be used for future development. They also said there's enough room for a new theme park entirely, but where? I can't find a location on the maps that is large enough. The land north of Epcot and west of World Drive are for conservation, so can you predict the best location for a 5th park if it'll ever happen.
    So I have a question for ya, Martin. I just watched part 1 of the Wonders of Life tribute and noticed the color sign that looks very similar to the one currently in JIIwF. Is it the same sign or just another one like it?
    Hello, I was looking at your video site and somthing is wrong with the Blast! at Epcot one. For some reason the first half of it is in slow motion and has no audio. Could you possibly fix it? I'm dying to see the first half. :)
    Nothing since WDI were in nearly 3 years ago. I`ve been looking at the area - I think you pass too fast to see the hatbox effect here. Plus, you`d have a split second to look at Constance OR the hatbox.
