don't remeber lasers in SSE 94

Thanks for your input in the ROE thread.
94 lasers... one at the entry portal into 180top which worked on and off (more off than on), the decativated one in the core, and the finale city which was illuminated by laser - as was the first `swirl` coming out of it.
I got more of a shock when I discovered Cronkite had lasers for TC! I saw them myself several times and must have forgotten, and my own 1990 video just shows points of light. The beams had no smoke to go through, unlike later videos I got.
Woah...Re-watched the tribute and LASERS in SSE '94?
I don't seem to remember these effects from my last rides in 06 or 07.Were they deactivated at some point?
It makes me VERY hopeful for the future!
