  • Yeah, at the end of a long day I prefer not to hear crying/screaming kids. I know, I'm a mom and I should be more tolerant but I've done my time! Lmao.....

I bet whatever "passed through" (if that's what it is), you wished it hadn't stopped by to say hello, lol! I'm glad you're feeling better anyway.

Oh wow, less than 40 days! Are you planning in your head all the stuff you'll take or things you absolutely DO NOT want to forget? I actually type up a list on the computer of stuff we need to pack with a spot to check it off once it's packed! LOL! It does help because I start a list way before the trip and add to it as I remember stuff. Now who's dorky?
I am SO EXCITED for you!! I know that's a huge weight off your shoulders to have finally paid off your trip! Now you can relax and just look forward to an amazing trip and Thanksgiving!

I can't tell you how tired I am. LOL, since last Monday I've only had one day off but, thankfully, I'm off tomorrow. Today was dead. I know this might sound terrible but I kind of wish I wasn't in the children's dept. The ladies are all very, very nice but I think I would've preferred another location. Oh well, maybe I can move somewhere eventually.

Personal question - are you bloated feeling? I wonder if the acidopholus I take would be helpful to you. It's a natural product and you can get it at Walmart. It's helped me. It helps lactose intolerance, gas, bloating.
Sorry I haven't been on for a couple of days but I finally started working! So far, so good. It was a bit like trial by fire the first day because it was the first day of their Columbus Day sale so we were busy! But I have a feeling it's going to be waaay worse this weekend.

I look forward to your future food reports! Does that sound weird? I think I think too much about food! Anyway, it's okay to share, it's all a part of daily life, isn't it? I had my gall bladder out and ever since then I swear I've been much, much more gassy! LOL, I've started taking acidopholus and that's helped a LOT! I hope it's something easily treated whatever is causing you pain.
O-M-G! We looooove Big Pie! We got that for Tristan's bday party earlier this year, the kids were astounded! We'll most likely try Via Napoli though, unless I can't get a res., of course, lol.

You're so funny! One of my bff's just had her second baby and she's 43! She had her first at 41. Sometimes it makes me want another baby but then I remember all the work that goes with it! LOL.... I guess what I'm really waiting for is grandchildren! But I better get to wait at least another 17 years (hmm, I hope I calculated that right!) for Tristan and 21 for Sean!! LOL.

Tangerine Cafe is in Morocco, right? Have you eaten there before? Your food list looks great, where else are you eating while you're there?
Have you ever gone for the F&W Festival? I've only gotten as close as taking pictures of the banners in Epcot! LOL, I don't know if I'd do it anyway, neither my hubby nor I drink wine. Now beer, he can put away, lmao! I'm not much of a drinker, occasionally I'll get what I call a "girly drink" if we go out to dinner at night. You know like a pina colada, something fruity and sweet.

Remember this - she'll be home soon and then you're trip will still be coming up! Yay! She can give you some reports on how the park is.

I can't wait to hear what you say about WDW and the new stuff there. You're eating at Via Napoli, too, right? You'll have so much fun. It's the best thing to just get away and have no worries.
I am loving this weather, too!! I love the windyness and the light sweater weather. As I've been calling it - sweet relief! Finally!

Thank you so much for your offer, it's wonderful of you! I'll think about it because I like to keep things a surprise and having a rice crispy treat before we go might take the anticipation out of it! LOL....

I am so sleepy tonite. You're my last message and then off to bed. I went to the Disney Store to look for a tee for my dad's gf and they didn't have any that I liked for her. Well, they had one but not in her size. I was going to get her a tee for part of her bday present but now will have to put it off till Christmas. Guess what I saw online though - a men's tee that looked like Buzz Lightyear's costume! I loved it, I thought about getting it for my dad. Lee, my hubby, would never wear something like that, lol.
I'm with you - I cannot wait to try the new caramel shop in Germany! I will be anxiously awaiting your review, too! I saw the pictures and o.m.g. does it all look delicious. One of my weaknesses is rice crispy treats and they had some with caramel. Have mercy.

We all watch Wipeout together at my house. It is hilarious! And a lot of times I don't think the people that do voice overs are funny but that show is the exception. I love it when they make up a nickname for a contestant and then use it throughout the entire show. And you know it's usually something that kinds makes fun of the person! Love it!
Wow, sounds like you're gearing up for your trip! Did you get everything from ebay? I'm mad at ebay right now, LOL. I lost out on a bid on a shirt for Sean. He really liked it but someone outbid me in the last 30 min. Then I saw a shirt for Tristan, it started out at .99 cents and went to $15! What kind of idiot does that? So, I decided to take your advice and just look at Buy It Now things. Especially now since I'm looking for a shirt for my dad, too, for Christmas. Wonder if I'll have any luck?

I am thrilled for you and your impending vacation. I can't believe it's that close already! But it's now Oct. and I swear this time of year goes by sorta quickly. I did start small Christmas shopping. Nothing major yet. But I figured this will help later on. How about you? When do you typically start shopping?
Yeah, I don't think they'll be able to go all day long but we'll have to figure that out when we're there. I already warned them I plan out each day. Not to the second or anything but they've been through it before with her son and his family.

How was your week? Uh-oh - what's your countdown now? I bet you're getting a bit antsy now, huh?
We are home again! We didn't get in when we wanted, we got bumped off of Sunday's flights but we got in yesterday. The kids got a freebie since we didn't get home in time for them to get counted for a full day of school. We had a lot of fun. While we were there we celebrated my dad's 70th birthday! I was so happy we got to share that with him. While we were home I asked if my dad and Barbara (his longtime gf) wanted to join us next year at WDW and they said yes. I am so excited to go with them. The kids will love it!
Just wanted to let you know - I got the job! The girl interviewing me actually offered it to me half-way thru the interview! Yay! I don't have an exact starting date but I'm pretty excited. I'll be working in the children's dept. Although I will have to buy a few things because their dress code is to wear 90% black. I have a few things but will need to get a few more.

Also, I may not be on for the next few days since the kids and I are going to NJ till Sun. I'll try to get on though. If not, hope you and Lindsay have a great week!
I couldn't be a perfume girl, I'm too old! lmao!! I wouldnt' do that anyway because 1. I'm not aggressive enough and 2. because the heavy smell of perfume really irritates my sinuses now. I can't actually remember what I applied for! I'm hoping at the least it's for permanent FT but PT would be fine, too. I also can't remember which departments I chose to apply for. Yeah, I'm batting 1000. I know I did NOT choose men's or shoes (I don't like feet.). Maybe housewares, too, but that I'm not sure about. LOL......
Thank you for the encouragement. I'll be doing my "homework" tonite. The interview is not till 6 pm tomorrow so I can "study" some tomorrow, too. :dazzle:

I showed Sean the shirt on ebay and he really liked it so I'm going to try to win it (there's no buy it now for this shirt, unfortunately). I tried to get a shirt for Tristan but didn't win it in the end. LOL, I still have plenty of time, thankfully! :)
I'm glad you two had such fun at the wedding. Next up (maybe) - baby shower!! LOL...

I know how it is when you look at your "baby" and see just how grown up they really are. It's happy and sad at the same time. How is Lindsay liking school now? Tristan is doing better. He got a decent progress report and I was very happy. Yay!

Countdown for you now - just a couple of months away and it will go by so quick you won't believe it.

Tues. is my interview. I printed up some interview guidelines and some info about Macy's. Maybe that will help me be less nervous.
Oh I love weddings! Of course in my twisted mind I start wondering just how long they will actually last or whether the love that is so apparent on their day will end up to where they absolutely hate each other. That happened more as I got older, though, LOL.

To start a thread - 1. Go to Discussion Forums 2. Choose a category. 3. There should be an oval button just above the comments left on the thread that says "Start A Thread." It makes it stand out if you choose a topic like Discuss, Question or something like that. (Now I'm going to check and make sure my directions are right, lol.)

Hope you have fun at the wedding!
Okay, I've finally come across something different between us - I love to shop! Love it, love it. Except grocery shopping. There's no fun in that at all, lol!

Wow, see, now I know I won't get chosen because your sister is definitely someone who should apply! Why doesn't she, because of the time commitment? I wondered about that myself but I'm convinced I won't be chosen so, no worries! Lol.

I'm going to show Sean the shirt from ebay today. Do you go ahead and place a bid right away or do you wait till it gets close to the end? I think there are still a few days left before the bid closes.
Forgot two things - we are exactly one year away from our WDW vacation!! Yay! :sohappy:

And - yesterday I applied to be on the WDW Mom's Panel! I don't think I'll be chosen but I bit the bullet and applied....:)
I LOVE getting deals like that! When I went to my 20th HS reunion I found a coctail dress at Ross for $7.00! I couldn't belive nothing was wrong with it. In the end I bought another outfit - still only paid $15 for a skirt and sweater! Plus my shoes were $12. I hit the jackpot that time. I always like to use the $10 coupons at Kohl's, especially when it's for a purchase of $10 or more. :sohappy:

I am currently on hold with WDW Travel Co. trying to verify a pymt. I made online earlier. I didn't get the confirmation page, it seemed to skip it. The pymt. is on hold at my bank but I got no confirmations from Disney either on my reservation page or email. :veryconfu

I did find a shirt at ebay for Tristan and Sean. I may go ahead and order Sean's because it looks like they don't get his size a lot but I'm going to keep checking on shirts for Tristan.
Wow! Your trip is getting closer and closer! I feel your excitement! It's funny because ours is now exactly one year away and I'm excited, too. :sohappy:

Did I ever tell you I ordered a Hawaiin Shirt for my DH on eBay? I know I meant to, lol. It's not as "loud" as some Hawaiin shirts I've seen. It was more than I wanted to pay but like I said the motif was nice and more subdued than some others. Now I'm on the lookout for H. shirts for Tristan and Sean. When Lee's (my DH) came in Sean said, "How come I didn't get one?" We'll see how it goes for them. :)

I finished my book. Now I didn't ready everything just yet but probably 95% of it. It was a good book, I liked it. I did notice a few omissions/errors. The ones I noticed where all about the dining plan. They had the Rainforest Cafe as on the dining plan and unless that changed recently, it has never been on the DP. :veryconfu
We did the Crystal Palace, too. It was good and the characters were fun. I bought some Pooh stuff when Tristan was a toddler but my DH wasn't too fond of it. (Not manly enough, I guess.) Especially the purple suitcase that had Pooh on it. Lmao! He was little, I didn't think it mattered too much back then.

All MM/Disney dishes would be cool! Would you want a matching set or a collection of whatever you can find? They have so much out there - like the MM waffle iron. You could go crazy for your kitchen!
