It's hardly my favorite but I like the ride. My only real complaints is that I think the show lights could've been hidden better in the "Under the sea" section and that the ending feels rushed. That first Ariel animatronic looks sleepy too :P
There is potential that it hasn't quite met and I think it's best times was probably when I first went in '90 (I miss whe it was all Roger Rabbit and D-ick Tracy. Oh, and when it actually had a working studio you could tour) but still... I can actually get a decent day out of the park.
Frankly, I'm convinced they simply have run into legal fee issues with the actor likenesses or the rights to certain movies and rather than pay up what the owners want, Disney's decided to retheme it to something they know they don't and will never have to pay for. Mickey Mouse!
Providing you don't think to turn down the screen light, yeah. that makes sense. As an Ipod owner, those things can be BRIGHT if you don't adjust it X___X
I've never done oranage on Mission Space myself but I have done green and I'd recommend it. If you can take Star Tours, I think you can take the green version.
You must either be cursed or just have terrible timing because that almost never happens to me on Disney rides. I often expect it, but it doesn't. Mind you, I only go once every two years. I don't know how often you go.
I guess I'm just indifferent to it because I didn't actually grow up with EPCOT center the way everyone else here did. I went once as a kid in '90 but the only thing that made an impact on me was Journey into Imagination and the dinosaur scene in UOE. In fact, I couldn't even remember what the...
As someone who enjoys recording and photographing rides, and watching other people's footage and photos of said rides, I would hate this incredibly. It's half the fun for me. Mind you, I just use a simply ipod for this. If there was a way to just disable those those honking huge ipads, I...
I don't know, from my point of view, people seem scared about the future. Hence all the focus on nostalglia in current media. But you're right about technology now which could be Epcot's other problem. Like the old Tomorrowland, Epcot could just be having trouble keeping up with all the constant...
