Happy New year --Gotta ask how many stay up till mid night to welcome the new year --I can't remember when the wife and I have but then again I always get up at 5:30 in bed by 9:30
Not I! New Years stopped being a big deal when it finally dawned on me that when it hits 12am est it has already been the new year for 19 hours in Samoa. We are quite late to the party.

Surprisingly, only a few low-noise fireworks went off around 11 last night, and they were from quite a distance away. That was it. Dog was fine and slept through it all.

We heated up leftover Chinese food from night before, and it was delish even on day 2. :hungry:

I feel asleep after 9:30, but did see about 90 minutes of Andy and Anderson's show from Times Square. Andy had his usual lunacy going on (I think he was slightly inebriated, even prior to the start of the show :jawdrop: ), and Anderson was slightly the more refined of the two, but fun nonetheless. (They reminded me a little of the Odd Couple, like Felix and Oscar.)

Then, I woke up at 12:10 AM!! I missed the ball drop from Times Square! :banghead:

Happy New Year! I didn't make it until midnight, I was tired and whinny at 11:30pm and I was annoying myself so I went to bed. Before that we were watching some of the Andy/Anderson thing and we flipped to it after the ball had dropped in NYC (didn't see it we were watching something else) and Andy Cohen was quite "ON". it was a little funny at first and then it got old/annoying, and around the time he was interviewing Snoop Dogg about getting high was when I decided I'd had enough and that was my exit. Went to bed and watched an old episode of Love Boat for like 5 minutes then I was out for the rest of the year!

Self-imposed exile over, but, the break was much-needed.
Not even goin’ back...water under the bridge.
Got a bit of a scare about 3 weeks ago. On a regular checkup, Megan’s doc suspected the baby could very well have a heart defect. She was sent to a specialist, but, the specialist inquired as to why, as it was too early to tell. After a follow-up with the specialist this past Wednesday, it was a false alarm, and we were sooooo very much beyond thankful . Such a tough few weeks, memories of miracle DS’s issues, and just beyond grateful that everything is fine with baby. The specialist said she wished that every baby she saw was as healthy.
And, with all the testing, it’s another granddaughter...!!!!!!!!!!! 👍❤️🥰😊

These may, very well, be the youngest pics of a child ever posted here...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:
