How so?Incorrect.

MKs cap is lower.How so?
I disagree...I’m getting this firsthand within the last ten days from inside the park.MKs cap is lower.
That’s okay.I disagree...I’m getting this firsthand within the last ten days from inside the park.
12,000 a day would be 4.3 million a year...just as a reference point.
Still on the path to nowhere
Springs was at pre-covid levels last night.I can say even with weekends feeling chaotic, they are averaging 12,000 a day in attendance, which has to be good enough for these times, but feels far busier with the spacing and lower efficiency.
That's not good at all. From reports I have heard mask wearing and social distancing is low. Most just don't care. Its concerning it has to be this way. Like I have said multiple times people wanted things open but many can't be bothered to social distance and wear a mask. IT REALLY ISN'T THAT HARDSprings was at pre-covid levels last night.
I don’t ever see them back to that level...to be honest.
It’s a gangly beast they’ve been trying to tame since AT LEAST the year 1999. I can verify that. But I was told that it started no later than the early 90’s in reality.

Since we couldn’t eat at Epcot we went to Disney Springs a couple of nights for dinner. I’d never been to DS at night. I was surprised how busy it was. I loved it. It felt normal like we weren’t living in the zombie apocalypse.Springs was at pre-covid levels last night.
I worked in the “sundial on Buena vista drive” for a spell in that era. And I know a lot about the NYC area and regulatory agencies. Which also involved post WTC type stuff.Have you ever owned or started a business? Just curious since you seem to know a lot about multimillion dollar business ....to be honest LOL
They won’t start laying off park cast members until March. They have already agreed to pay for their health insurance until then and it isn’t costing them anything more to have them called furloughed instead of laid off. So they will avoid the PR hit that official layoffs of regular park cast members brings until then. That doesn’t make the suits raise any eyebrows.
They’ll continue working on the planned layoffs with proper zeal tomorrow morning
I’m told - grain of salt - it was a calculated choice when no good ones existed. You said he handled it best. Couldn't let that pass.
Is that documented or rumor? If it’s true that’s “at least something” again. They won’t start laying off park cast members until March. They have already agreed to pay for their health insurance until then and it isn’t costing them anything more to have them called furloughed instead of laid off. So they will avoid the PR hit that official layoffs of regular park cast members brings until then.
I’m just relaying what I’ve heard through some contacts in Albany...unofficially.did you not read my post in its entirety? He had 2 very visible choices with the facilities that sat empty. And it bears repeating every time we hear how great the Governor handled the virus.
Nuff said.
When I stated Nuff said, I meant I was through (as this is not a political board). But you seem to always want the last word. Can you stand to not respond to this post?I’m just relaying what I’ve heard through some contacts in Albany...unofficially.
And it’s a discussion board...did you miss the hubbub of “nuff said” earlier?
Anyway...it was a bad choice. They thought those “empty hospitals” were gonna overflow off the streets at that time. Mighty brave to look at it now...again.
It ended up being wrong but that wasn’t the no brainer you’re making it out to be.
I read you post...did you read mine? Incase I was subtle: that nursing home issue is a political football. It’s not the only one...but it is one. Time to punt it.
Now back to Disney?
No hablo ingles, SenorWhen I stated Nuff said, I meant I was through (as this is not a political board). But you seem to always want the last word. Can you stand to not respond to this post?
Please keep in mind that corporate Disney almost certainly wants these experienced Cast Members back, eventually. They won’t start laying off park cast members until March. They have already agreed to pay for their health insurance until then and it isn’t costing them anything more to have them called furloughed instead of laid off. So they will avoid the PR hit that official layoffs of regular park cast members brings until then.
Didn't think so.No hablo ingles, Senor![]()
