How about a beam of light? You can make it a black light!
I think a strong beam at night actually would look cool. I remember the beams for the twin towers. Those were pretty awesome.

There was suppose to be a SpaceX geosynchronous satellite that would lower a cable into the atmosphere that would be anchored to Space 220.
Obviously the cable would be slanted. The elevator car was supposed to looked sort of like this.Funny, the place-setting doesn't look equatorial!
I agree I feel like we have gotten absolutely nothing on this project except for the two D23 announcements... I sure would appreciate some sort of official construction update/sneak peek or an opening date or something
There was suppose to be a SpaceX geosynchronous satellite that would lower a cable into the atmosphere that would be anchored to Space 220. Unfortunately because of the economic impact of the pandemic, that effect was cut. The value imagineered replacement is a repainted "Hydolator" off to the side of the hostess podium.
Ok, let's consult the internet. And by "hostess podium" you, of course, mean greeter (or host/hostess) lectern because you stand ON a podium and BEHIND a lectern. (Yes, I know this is pedantic and podium is used interchangeably with lectern, but this is what the freakin' internet is FOR!!!!)

Oh yeah. And complimentary "Welcome Aboard" Cosmic Cosmos. But was it going to have air conditioning??? After all.... Florida!!
I believe I acknowledged that current usage makes podium and lectern interchangeable. It seems you missed my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.Ok, let's consult the internet.

Now you've ruined my whole dais. And by "hostess podium" you, of course, mean greeter (or host/hostess) lectern because you stand ON a podium and BEHIND a lectern. (Yes, I know this is pedantic and podium is used interchangeably with lectern, but this is what the freakin' internet is FOR!!!!)
good luck! I remember when we (wife and I with APs last year) were hoping for a 2019 open. Next came the guessing for an opening date in 2020 with February a popular choice. Now... ??? Maybe it will be open when we come back in 5 years?So... Space 220... please open before December 5th. TIA!

Same here, spent the last few months before the trip checking every day to see if there was a ADR update lol. Between that and the daily Rise boarding group practice I had nice daily WDW farming grind going on for a couple months haha.Us too. Went this past Feb hoping it'd be open by then....
Yes, that's a walk-in.According to a reply to that tweet, that “mural” is actually the kitchen’s walk-in freezer. That’s pretty funny if that’s actually the case.
I'm sorry, but I didn't read any sarcasm, irony, or tongue in cheek in your post. You don't need to backpedal, however! Simply note that Merriam-Webster, as a liberally descriptivist enterprise, is simply reporting common usage and that this common usage is just terribly misinformed.I believe I acknowledged that current usage makes podium and lectern interchangeable. It seems you missed my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.
