Not trying to speak for Martin here, but I read it as him suggesting they should have redone the roof so they could have built something better than the painted flat. Not that they were going to do something better in the future.

We've learned in the last 4 years that if you vaguely say, "some people" instead of "I" you can get away with a stupid theory.
Build a larger, stronger box around it. Then you can add the palace of Versailles on top of it!!

I was. The roof was not designed to support some future addition of large scenic elements. It could have been but it was not.
I think we both understand that. Leaving the confusion behind and moving on?

I mean, it's obviously a flat but it looks fine here. Also, it's much closer that I realized. :/ Not bad but wish it were a facade instead. Or some weird hybrid that shifts from building to facade to flat. Doesn't look washed out in this pic. Nice.

Very glad to see that the blue "windoor" building's paint, got the antiqued treatment. I was hoping for that!
