I was on the monorail today (maybe 4 hours again) and thought I had seen vertical steel trusses back there today. I wasn't able to get a picture though.

More like WDW is lazy and just copying what's already been done elsewhere.

It makes sense to employ successful clones when thematically appropriate...

But to not build new things at a pace to stay ahead of the crowds in Florida while jacking price is an alarming trend.

I'd assume that construction on this will be identical to how the ride was constructed in Shanghai (track first then the building built around it) as opposed to what they ultimately are doing with GotG (building first followed by the track)?

I am surprised the crane tower is not going more vertical yet. I saw somewhere else that they had poured a concrete slab, but it still looks like a ton of dirt right now.

Even then, UCF was named Florida Technical University. I walk by the emblem three times a week.

USF's naming convention is a wonderful florida joke. University of Miami was founded in 1925 - USF was pretty pessimistic to think that Florida wouldn't ever go much more south than Tampa for education
