My brother got a buzz cut one year. We loved it on him. He hated it. He's never had another one since. Maybe he just hated that I kept touching his hair. Thanks! It was a major compromise. He’s been begging for a buzz. I refuse to let it happen, he’s also been begging for a “CR7” shaved into the side of his head.. I did concede to this- AFTER school is out, they aren’t allowed to do that during the school year.
He’s had this same haircut as the pic at age 4 and 5..but with a “0 guard”. We compromised on a “1”, I wanted a 2, at least for First Communion. BUT, he promised me that he will wear it in a pompadour for first communion.. so, I agreed.
So much hair drama with me and a newly 8 year old.![]()

I never did anything too wild with my hair, but my mom always had the mentality of "It's just hair." With both of us. My brother isn't allowed to grow his too long, but that's the only real restriction they've put on us. Not that he's ever wanted long hair any more than I've wanted to dye my hair or cut it weird.
