Ok all.. so T and I have been having a few disagreements the past couple of weeks.. or more like listening problems on his end, and then me handing out restrictions. We’ve never had this problem before, so it’s been worrying me. I’m trying another star system to earn rewards instead of restrictions alone now. Hoping that will work.

But.. good news today- first he brings home an Outstanding and a ā€œBestā€ award for his power point presentation last week (along with a ā€œno homeworkā€ pass to go with it). So, that was another ā€˜proud mama’ moment, obviously.

Secondly, today he received $21 from our neighbor for feeding her cat over the weekend. As soon as she left he said ā€œI’m putting $20 in my rice bowl and I’ll keep $1 for me.ā€ ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
That made my heart smile!!! He has donated all of his allowance and all of his tooth fairy money, I’ve never once asked him to contribute all of it.
I’ve contributed my Starbucks savings.. we reached a modest amount! Counted it tonight.. surpassed our goal.. he’s so thrilled to be able to donate the money tomorrow!! Proudest moment of all. ā¤ļø

What a good heart he has.
I love it, but I don’t like the strawberry sauce.. and I actually prefer the pineapple macadamia pancakes. We order both- then share, best of both worlds. :)
All that seems too sweet for me. Think I would have to have some roasted potatoes or something salty with all that sweet. I could do maybe one pancake. :hilarious:

$9.99, I find that fair given the quality. They look very similar to the ones at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie at Epcot-France which are real tasty and on real bread vs the Sam's Club quality at other venues. I'd eat this and be good to go for a long time, looking like one of the better QS offerings as of late. I could easily share this with my DD. :hungry:

But, what does Disney consider "roughly the size of a barge" for $10...?
In a short search I couldn't find any info on that. Those salads just to the right look more barge-ish to me. ;)
Wasn't all that long ago I could get a $5 footlong at Subway... :cyclops:

He has his moments ;)..other times, I have to take a deep breath before reacting, he’s been grounded from his Switch for the past 4 days. I can’t stand to tell him to do something more than once...especially when it reaches the 3rd or 4th time. Tonight though, he was as sweet as can be. :)

Tonga toast is sweet, that’s why I don’t like the sauce with it, it makes it too sweet. The pineapple pancakes are sweet as well.. but sooo good.

I never had it. I don’t like bananas. Maybe if they used berries. :hungry:
I like the flavor of bananas bur not the texture. I can have a banana milkshake for example but on their own, they are way too mushy.

I hate bananas with a passion. I'd rather eat dirt than bananas. I can't stand the texture, three taste, the smell, the feel of the peel, the sound they make when you peel them. I hate them.

Now that i think about it that's probably why Tonga Toast never made the list. I forgot about the bananas and just remember hearing everyone say they were too sweet.

"Gaston’s Tavern Now Serving Sandwiches ā€œRoughly the Size of a Bargeā€!
-AJ Wolfe-

That isn't Disney's description. It is AJ Wolfe at The Disney Food Blog, which like this site does not have any affiliation with the The Disney Corporation or WDW. AJ has a pretty solid reputation and is a go to person to see what is new at Disney in the world of food, I've been following her about 10 years now. She is also a pretty dang good photographer too.

So now I'm curious about what communication provisions are available, to their hearing impaired guests in a crisis, onboard a cruise ship. I wonder what the cruise ship's emergency plans are, in those types of situations.
As I said, for guests they do accommodate, for workers they dont.

IF you're a guest, your cabin staff will wake you up if you request or in case of emergency go for you.
Or they use tools like coil capable phones, etc..

(Its just basic business, they do a lot of guests so you become a repeat customers, they dont care much about workers who might be baggage if most business are "revolving doors" )
