Do you suppose that it is just a coincidence that the name Testarossa is so similar to Testosterone?:joyfull:
close but no cigar,

The Testarossa name paid homage to the famed World Sportscar Champion 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa sports racing car. Testa Rossa , which literally means "red head" in Italian, refers to the red painted cam covers sported by the cars 12- cylinder engine.

Especially with the open-style of the sandwiches in Gabe's photo -- they could easily do one with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil with a little Italian dressing, Or, they could offer a sandwich with hummus as a base, with sliced tomaoes, etc. Not rocket science, people.

And even "omnivores" like myself ;) really do like VARIETY in food, and I don't eat meat for every single meal.

I'll bet they get complaints from guests. Always feel bad for the CMs on the front lines, who take the brunt of this. :(

So I was thinking about food and came across the article of "Foods foreigners think are weird" and one was grits.

I got the Shrimp and Grits are the Flower and Garden festival. It was good but the grits do nothing. I had grits on the side (it came with the meal) at a restaurant in DC once and didn't care for it. I just think people south of the Mason Dixon line enjoy it.

Gee, you're pretty smart for a guy with Tattoo's!!!:jawdrop:;):) Wait, it just occurred to me that Tattoo's start with a "T" as does Testosterone! Coincidence, I think not.:p

What stuck out in this photo were all the trees.

Here's what I don't get. Since so many (not all) trees have been removed all over the parks, did no one in management ever realize that in the hot Florida heat, just maybe SHADE might help to lower the temperature? I'm thinking that shade trees, especially near any of the buildings, restaurants, etc., would help to lower A/C costs in the parks.

That pic was actually taken in Feb. of '16 when we were there for the Princess 5K.
We have always loved the upper floor window tables at CHH...!!!!! :inlove:

Still bummed about the jacking with the menu, though... :bored:

I actually knew that!
I'll never forget when we spent one night in Vegas back in '87 on a road trip back to No Cal, we were walking down the Strip and a red Testarossa came flying down the road from behind us and then jumped the curb into a casino parking lot just in front of us and pulled up to the valet area. The guy driving the car jumped out, and threw his keys to the valet as he was running inside. We just kept walking...have no clue what that was all about...there were sparks flyin' when that dude jumped the curb, but, the valet drove it off with, what appeared to be, no problems... :cyclops:

That is a bit different than what my Doc's had to say but she was also a short, thin woman herself. At a young age, we tiny women are often very thin with little body fat in our younger years. It really messes with reproduction efforts when you are short and thin but it isn't always about being in sports as some Doc's lean towards. Active and thin often is you ovulate less often then heavier women. Thin and active is a positive health wise and great for having good pregnancies or at least in my experience with the two I had.

Oh.. I’m not advocating laziness! I’ve always been thin and active (until the past 6-7months).. I just don’t run a full marathon, tough mudders, triathlon, and a bourbon run per year.lol.. I have 0 desire to do all of that. With my sis, it was the extremity of her training has messed with her cycle throughout her life...never had one without birth control to help. She had a really tough time getting pregnant with her first, it took almost 2 years due to her not ovulating. Her doctor told her to scale back on her training a bit, and took hormones.. she finally got pregnant, so all was good.
With her second child she ran a half marathon at 22 weeks pregnant, doctor said that was fine. Now she’s done having kids so she can safely go back to her obnoxious training. ;)
I will do a full sometime in the next 2 years.. I just can’t ever find the time to train for it these days.
She used to do dance, and she does gymnastics, but not as actively as my others. For her it is just how her growth cycle is, which is very, very, slow. She must have the Fountain of Youth chromosome.:)

Hooray T! I knew he was smart.:)

Ah ok. I hope that post didn’t sound scary.. it wasn’t meant to be! Like I said, she grew a few inches after she retired.

Can your daughter send me the Fountain of Youth chromosomes please?!

I was worried about T’s test.. all week at home he kept getting 9x8 or 8x7 wrong..one or the other each time.. but would finish at 4 minutes as opposed to 5. I’m so glad that it finally stuck in his head!

*edit*

what the hell. Why did it post twice and in such separated hours? o_O

anyway.. Mexico won 3-0. 2 very good goals.

I fell asleep at 70minutes in, checked the score when I woke up. Glad they won! Kiddo’s coach is from Mexico, and 2 kids in his team moved here just a few months ago from there as well.. last night he said “I’ll have to cheer for Mexico, because of Coach G. But not if they ever play Portugal, Spain, or Argentina.” Lol. I don’t know how we’re going to find time to watch all of these matches.

It’s so exciting that he’s finally old enough to really follow the players and the clubs!!! A lot more fun during the games.

We installed the Ring doorbell and we also have a camera on our back deck where we have our catio. The doorbell is great because I can turn it on from my phone whenever I want and just look around the front of the house or I can watch the cats when they are in the catio. It was great when we went away. It announced when my neighbor's, who were watching our cats when we went away came in the house.

The camera has been interesting, actually.
I leave the house before everyone else in the morning, then DWifey and DS leave, then youngest DD. So, I get an alert on my phone when I leave, and etc. Each time it leaves me about a 15-20 sec. video. I can also pull it up live anytime.
So far, nothing suspicious, at all, but, darn, it is cool to have...!!! :)

My kids were just slamming doors and I yelled at them for doing that, and then I remembered your finger. How is it doing?

Hahaaa...!
Thanks for asking...! :)
Looks exactly the same...still bent, and it's gonna' stay that way. I couldn't sketch properly at my drafting table with the thing the doc gave me, so I pretty much stopped wearing it. Then, one day a coupla' weeks or so ago, I had it in my pocket with my keys when I was pumping gas, and apparently it fell on the ground when I pulled my keys out. I noticed when I was about a mile down the road and just kept drivin'...darn thing wasn't doin' me any good anyway.
All I know is I can still play my guitar, and it isn't givin' me any other problems, so bent it's gonna' stay...!!!!! :joyfull:;)

And, the door slamming thing is a pet peeve of mine! It's sooooo simple to close a door gently, and sooooo much less wear and tear!
Heck, I don't even let the cooler doors at the corner convenience store swing/slam shut when I'm makin' a TSSFFBR...!!! ;)

I was reading today that Cali Grill is going to tighten their dress code to be a little tighter than it is outlined now that isn't really enforced. Hearing as of June it will be strictly enforced and likely the other Signatures should follow in the months following. Think they are trying to reclaim Cali as a signature venue experience given the new(ish) chef, staff additions etc over just signature pricing. Right now Jiko at AK is ranked the best.

That is fine with me. Hubs usually wears a nice pair of khakis a polo shirt and I wear nice capris and a nice blouse when we go hear or any signature. However we have seen people in tank tops and shorts.

We did wear tee shirts and shorts to the Yachtsman once, but that was because we went on the day we arrived and our luggage hadn't been delivered by the time we had to go. We probably should have packed our nice clothes in our carry on, which we did this last trip for our ressie at Jiko.
