Well someone must have known he was like this. I wonder if he ever had seen a psychiatrist. Glad this incident is over at least.

The really amazing part seems to be nobody knew.
He apparently showed no signs of anything remotely close to what could have led to this.
Not to his parents, relatives, friends, classmates, roommates, etc. They all say he was polite, cordial, nice, etc. An all around good guy.
Although, he admitted in his farewell video he felt like a psychopath from the time he was a child, he, apparently, hid it really well. His family said they had absolutely no clue from the way he behaved and interacted with others all his life, and they were completely devastated.
Unless things have changed since I last heard, this was so very unexpected from this guy.
Definitely unusual, if so.

I think moving the welcome show affected CRT more than BOG did because it made BOG the only PPO reservation that gave you an advantage at Mine Train

I'm sure the welcome show did impact the early morning reservations at CRT. But I can't imagine the early morning show impacting how much easier it has been to get CRT reservations until park closing. BOG for dinner has the Beast. For many it is the heck with the meal they want to meet the Beast.

We were fancy and had two phone lines: one for calls and one dedicated to the computer.

When boys asked us for our number, we almost always gave them the computer line

Ha! I had 2 landlines, one was family and the other was my business. I wasn't going to add a third line into the house (but I could tap into my line when I wanted to)

They were Disney'd cheater glasses, they were very cute. I'll have to see if I can search for it tonight, can't remember if it was here or on the other sight.

Yea, with the first pair one of the lenses popped out and we never could find it, and the second pair was on Splash after the big drop...he got wet and shook his head and they flew off and ploopped right into the flume...the strap to keep them on his head that we had used umpteen times before on that trip somehow didn't make on the glasses for that ride...!!!

I still can't find a pic...hope you can...!!!

Can I suggest calling Disney Dining reservations? There is at times a hiccup for all sorts of reasons. They are usually belatedly honest. If the restaurant is off the ADR but a rehab hasn't been announced they tend to say it isn't you, this venue hasn't opened up yet. Also try harder for the middle or end of your trip. Others had opportunities for your earlier dates if they had a trip booked earlier than yours. But knowing it is loaded vs an unannounced refurb todate so blocked out is good to know by calling as you won't find that online yet.

Dh bought that game on Ebay. He had it as a kid and was missing it.

My kids were so anticipating the new Sims (sp???) app coming out, long awaited. My DD is so disappointed. It is based off the Sims but so not the same, the original about building this one is a game. Sadness.

We all complain about one thing or another. But then you hear about a sad story like that, and it jolts you back into reality--that things in our own little world aren't exactly that bad after all. Feel sad for that preteen; but glad to hear that the mom is then taking her on a nice vacation afterwards.

Oh, this new "rule" should be interesting . . .

I get the code in some venues. Other not so much. I look at places like Yachtsmen, Artist, Cali etc. As nice as they want to make BOG, or Tiffins they are in the middle of a theme park. It is a lot to ask people to leave the park and go back and redress to dine in a theme park IMO. Disney's transportation isn't quick. To change for dinner could take hours round trip. For example from a horse of a different color....It took me exactly one hour from the dock of Wilderness Lodge to reach the dock of the Magic Kingdom in September. Honestly if security would have let me at best a 15 minute walk. It is right there!!!!

Well see, as I said a few ago.. I applied to Royal Caribbean for customer service areas. Lets see..

The recruiter says I was a special case, while my resume was pretty good.. the issue was still my hearing problem for security reasons.

Blah. Security??? I'd really like to understand that one. I can't recall. Do you also sign? Between being bilingual and maybe that you'd think you'd be a real catch for them.
