Don't forget - Comcast has stated publicly that, due to the new tax laws, they intent to spend a not-insignificant amount of money on their theme parks. How much of that spending will end up in Orlando is obviously unknown at this time, as well as if that includes things already going on, like the new HP ride taking over the former Dueling Dragons/Dragon's Challenge area, but it seems as though they have big plans for the USO.

Stuff like this blows my mind. Beyond the obvious incredible thickness of the author and inanity of his "analysis", the consistently spread idea that "Hollywood" (which is not an entity) is the "propaganda arm" of the "establishment" (also not an entity) that runs through a lot of right-wing thought is hilarious. There is no vast conspiracy to control the media and brainwash people into going leftward. I know countless producers, writers, directors, actors - there's no illuminati group pulling the strings.

There's actually a huge variance of philosophical thought in Hollywood professionals, but overall, they do tend to the left. There's actually a good reason for that.

Most writers/actors/directors are transplants, who move to LA from other places to pursue their movie dreams. They want to tell stories.

Storytelling, by its very nature, requires empathy. Increased empathy often leads people toward progressive political ideals.

It's that simple. No conspiracies required.

This is proof you are part of the conspiracy. ;)

Well... zootopia is about not unfairly judging others just because they don’t look like you. Right or left I don’t see how any one could legitimatly have a problem with that concept.

Nobody should of course. My concern is when conformity crosses the line over to belief and accepted opinion becomes so narrow that fascism rises in the land. There are people actively trying to turn the world into one dominated by group think and controlled by thought police. That is dangerous.

But, this isn't really the thread for the discussion of politics.

Many established actors tell a very different tale. I think one is Tim Allen.

For all the Pixar fans, WDS fans, Potter fans, and Nintendo fans there are obviously huge Marvel fans that also wanna see their favorite characters come to life in attraction form.

The frustration comes from the fact that Uni is intent in doing nothing to add to their Marvel line up, WDW can't do anything with their mega stars, and DL can't get their act together.

So even for those that hate Marvel, it is and sufficit to say will forever now be Disney and it is my hope one day either Disney will regain all rights or Uni will get the MCU rights and build a proper beefed up Marvel land!

For those complaining about too much Pixar, at least if Disney could use MCU wed have a little more variety

No one who actually understood the contract made the statement.

To be fair to @jt04... there were oodles and oodles of discussions and even an article tearing apart the contract over on the former Universal Orlando/Inside Universal website. Very prominent people there swore up down and sideways that @marni1971 was off his rocker on the GoTG rumours.

So yes no one who actually understood the contract, but a heck of a lot of people thought they did.

Of course now it clearly comes down to: does DHS get a meet and greet?
