Yes, I have watched more than I wish to admit. My Nephew is a big fan of all things Marvel, and its hard for me to say no when he likes to watch them with me. I don't hate them, they are admittedly entertaining, I just simply don't think they belong in place like Epcot. If there were ever real talks of a 5th gate, throw them all in there, 6 flag it up if they want, just don't touch Epcot anymore than they have already.

Black Panther is now going down as one of the most massive movie openings in history, now within a hair of the opening weekend for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. I agree. It is time for something to be done. Renegotiate a deal that is beneficial to both sides. Marvel should have the right to maximize their profits. Disney should take Universal to arbitration and demand Universal produce something with Black Panther or give up the rights to that character. I would still like Universal to keep rights to what they have in Orlando but they should have to use them or lose them. The way it is now is bad for the Marvel fans.

They really belong in a 3rd gate for California, and in DHS for Florida (though I will still argue that Guardians could have replaced Stitch). Epcot wasn’t the place for them at all.

As for the movies being similar- like you, I’m worn out with the ‘Big Bad wants to conquer the earth with his/her superpowers’, which is why I think the villains from Daredevil: season 1, Jessica Jones (jury is out on Season 2 for another month), and Spider-Man: Homecoming all work better than 98% of Marvel’s other villains (except for Loki). Black Panther is really a breath of fresh air. No infinity stone drama, a great villain, amazing female characters. Really solid movie.

Nothing is the contract would require Universal to meet that demand.

If you Marvel fans can't get your men-in-tights fix at Universal, then seek professional help. WDW is WALT DISNEY WORLD. It is not MARVEL WORLD. Most people go to Disney parks to see real DISNEY, not Robert Iger's acquisitions. It's bad enough the raccoon and talking asparagus stalk are invading Epcot. Thank god Universal isn't going to give up its Marvel rights, and is unlikely to let them lapse. That will keep WDW, at least, happily testosterone-laden-power-fantasy-free. Hallelujah!

Disney could work out a promotional package deal with UNI, where there are M&Gs and entertainment with characters from recent and upcoming films, if they wanted to. That’s on them.
