2 degrees. Wind Chill -20. High tomorrow 7 degrees.

There is a reason why we all love Florida.
Sympathy like doesn't even begin cover it. I got a bit of pretty fabric for Christmas and what am I cutting out a sweatshirt:mad::grumpy::cold::coldfeet::grumpy::mad::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: Granted it's excellent quality, it has a nice chevron texture, but it's basic black and not what I had hoped to get to do! I'm doing it because I need to:brb::cold::coldfeet::grumpy::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::banghead::banghead::banghead::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: FLORIDA!!!!!

I am happy to report that my oldest son did make our Christmas Eve celebration last night. He went into work the other day and complained about being scheduled for Christmas Eve from 3 p.m. to midnight. The boss then rescheduled him for the morning shift, and he was at my house by 4 p.m. Plenty of time to eat Turkey dinner, and see every one of his family members. It was a wonderful party, and we got lots of great pics. One of our best nights ever.

Very happy to hear that your Christmas Eve celebration was a success with everyone there! :)

One of my favorite Christmas gifts was this really cool Harry Potter Mug. These beautiful words/designs appear when you pour any hot liquid into the mug.
I love that mug! I want one now, but I wonder if all our Disney mugs, which they all are, would get mad at me.:D

I like this Toyota Camry they gave me so much that I'm thinking about buying one. I drove a Hyundai out in California, and there were little thing I didn't like about it. Not with this car. Going to go test drive a bunch of cars when I get home. But really thinking about it, especially since my grandma told me she found out that there's no interest on Toyotas. She hates interest. Unless she's the one getting it. Will have to look into it to see if that's the case.

Good idea to test drive a bunch of vehicles before you decide. The no interest thing is a good incentive, but please also check the full price at different dealers. Sometimes when someone offers you a carrot (no interest) there still may be a better deal (overall) at a different car dealer. That's how they got the word, dealer. :cautious: I don't trust any of them. My two cents worth.

Happy post-Christmas to all today! :)

Yesterday managed to turn out well. Walked in blizzard conditions to church before 10 AM yesterday, and was wondering if we'd have to cancel our Christmas dinner until today (dangerous driving for hubs to get my sister in another city). But when I came out of church at 11, the sun started to come out. Within an hour the roads were getting much better (snow packed, but no ice), so hubs went to get her.

Dinner turned out really good. My only disaster was that I completely forgot about my broccoli casserole in the back of the oven. I didn't "discover" it until last night when I was cleaning up the kitchen and found it, still in the oven! HA! (The ham, and other things in the oven took up all the space in the oven, and the broccoli pan was stuffed way in the back, so I somehow missed it.  (That's a new one--even for me!) :p

Keep in mind, I just nuke stuff on an average night at home, so having a full oven full of food was practically an out-of-body experience! :hilarious:
