We border 81 and the highest wind speed we have had was 37 mph. No snow though.

I am happy to report that my oldest son did make our Christmas Eve celebration last night. He went into work the other day and complained about being scheduled for Christmas Eve from 3 p.m. to midnight. The boss then rescheduled him for the morning shift, and he was at my house by 4 p.m. Plenty of time to eat Turkey dinner, and see every one of his family members. It was a wonderful party, and we got lots of great pics. One of our best nights ever.

I'm so happy he spoke up and it worked out for him to some extent.

I like this Toyota Camry they gave me so much that I'm thinking about buying one. I drove a Hyundai out in California, and there were little thing I didn't like about it. Not with this car. Going to go test drive a bunch of cars when I get home. But really thinking about it, especially since my grandma told me she found out that there's no interest on Toyotas. She hates interest. Unless she's the one getting it. Will have to look into it to see if that's the case.

No one knew we were left out until the end of the evening and they didn't know what to say about it. I said plenty of F's and it wasn't family.

THNX it did. We had a nice quiet rest of the day with no stress I just wish the guys left some of the green bean casserole for me for tomorrow Right now there doing another The Santa Clause marathon Major sympathy like for the minus 7 {{HUGS}}

My dh and I do it differently he brings me when he wants a car. I go and say nope not paying for this, that or the other thing and he goes online when I want tech Not that I know anything about cars and don't let anybody tell you otherwise, I'm a helpless female

We changed plans last night. One last look at the weather warnings and we decided not to hit the road today. Snow here, ice along the way and high winds all day can make for a dangerous trip. Figgy family Christmas dinner roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole from scratch, broccoli with cheese sauce, a nice salad and a gazillion cookies. It will be nice and quiet and we'll all get to play with the pile Santa left under the tree

We had a bit more snow than expected and the first real snow of the season yesterday. Going to my Moms wasn't fun as the plows were waiting for it to stop to plow and salt. Back was much better. It almost made for an evening at my Moms with others an evening without adult beverages for me. A long drive without snow and then ice, my DD said she'd drive home but I know my truck in this weather. Turns out it would have been OK on the way home.

Today we did our little family morning and presents. Chilled for the day. Laughing our fool heads off over my present an ALEXA.
And then we and some others went out to dinner.

and finally my adult beverage (s) Whiskey Sour. Missing the Wilderness Lodge afterall

and then the parade of food started

And somewhere is my phone.... But the protein was filet minion for all.
