Thank goodness she's okay. You probably can't take a nap but I will for you.
THNX it was a very rough weekend, she had every test modern medicine could come up with, Cat scan, MRI, EKG, X-rays, 20 vials of blood, retinal scan and so on. You're also right about the nap thing, both boys are home and going to be fed soon:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Please take one for me , much appreciated:joyfull:

Ha! Been there. Okay, still there. We have all these cute storage bins and nice book shelves. For what? Kids are still little tornados and will just throw stuff willy nilly everywhere.
I closed our daughter's bedroom door, especially during the teenage years. I just thought, if she wanted to live in that mess, so be it. She did her own laundry, I could never figure out what was worn, and what wasn't. No stress on my part, that way.:D Her apartment is immaculate now.:confused::confused:

I took Belle to the vet for a check up and to get her shots. She didn't get shots. The vet believes she may have an autoimmune disorder which is attacking her paw pads. They look horrible. So bloodwork for that. Waiting to hear about the results.

And she needs dental work done. She might have to have a couple of teeth pulled; they're causing gum problems for her. The vef showed me, and I could see they were bleeding.

Also, every time we put her on the table, she would climb onto my shoulder. The tech finished taking her weight, and she immediately crawled up onto my shoulder. Then refused to get off when she needed an exam.

Poor baby.
I always hated taking the doggies to the vet. They shivered the whole time there.

So sorry for Belle, I hope you get her allergies fixed, along with the teeth.

Now that you mention this one of my students a few years back joined karate because of bullying too. He was getting bullied in elementary and his parents put him in Karate. By the time he was in 7th grade he was just earning his black belt and no one was bullying him any more. I don't think the kid used his karate on anyone just developed some self confidence (that's what his mom said).
Jake didn't use his training either, he just demonstrated his high kick, and how he can break a board in half. No one bothers Jake anymore.

This.
I made it through today and what my mom thought was a major health scare turned out to be a minor interaction between something she takes and her allergy med. Her allergy med has been changed to something that shouldn't interact.
I am glad your mom is okay. You would have thought the the physician and pharmacist would have known about the medicine interactions though without having put her through all that though.
No, she is working for someone who does something for Disney. He hired her to help with this job. She will be working from both coasts.
Sounds exciting!:)

My husband and I went there for our honeymoon, less than 2 weeks after Sept. 11. It was empty. We had zero wait times the whole week. The only time we ever waited was for 2 minutes on IaSW, and we could have just walked on, but they gave us our own boat, so we had to wait for an empty one. I'd say a 2 minute maximum wait was pretty awesome.
Same for us. We left the day after Sept. 11. The plane had no one on it. We each got a whole row and laid down on the seats. Using my hand bag as a pillow. Best flight ever.

Just her luck her regular doc and pharmacist were both on vacation last week. It took a medical student to finally figure it out. She was originally told it could be anything from a stoke, to heart attack to cancer.:mad::mad::banghead::banghead::banghead::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb:

I'm on the 5th floor of the Wilderness in a big squish, comfy Amish chair. I can hear faint sounds of the Children's activities in the lobby. Faint Disney music in background. So far Rain Delay #1 is going well.
