Thank you for these updates. From what I can ascertain, the tsunami wasn't as bad as originally feared. (Still 3 feet of water, is 3 feet of water--not good.)
Yeah, it didn't sound like the tsunami did much damage, so that's good at least. If mother nature wants to get rid of some water, I'm sure the people of Montana would be grateful for it to be dumped on the wildfires.

Sounds like the best day at Disney ever with the short lines. Granted I'm no fan of the Pooh or Peter Pan ride.
My husband and I went there for our honeymoon, less than 2 weeks after Sept. 11. It was empty. We had zero wait times the whole week. The only time we ever waited was for 2 minutes on IaSW, and we could have just walked on, but they gave us our own boat, so we had to wait for an empty one. I'd say a 2 minute maximum wait was pretty awesome.

My goodness!! I would be at the principal's office everyday giving him/her the old "what for". I always thought that Europeans were kinder and gentler than us "barbaric" Americans. I am guessing they do not allow homeschooling where you live. It is looked down in Europe from what I gather. Wonderful though that ds seems to be coping well. It certainly is not fair though and I cannot believe that the parents of these rotten brats picking on him do not slap their kids around for what they are doing. Unreal is all.
My understanding of homeschooling is that you CAN, if you do it from the beginning. Once they've started in a school, you can't pull them out to school them yourself. But not every school is as bad as ours is with dealing with bullying. There are some schools that are really good at it. Ours would be fine if they actually communicated with each other and followed up on reported incidents and went past the confrontation phase. I actually asked if there WAS a phase after that, having never experienced them doing that, and I was assured there is a whole step plan for if it continues. They HAVE a plan, they are just too lazy to continue with the later steps, so they just repeat step 1 over and over.

You betcha ya!

Will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days. With the crowd levels being so low since we got here and polishing off 2 full parks in 11 hours we have seen everything or everything we wanted to see. Any more time in the parks will be a bonus.
When do you go home? I imagine when the park opens on Tuesday it will still be pretty low crowds, because no one will have been able to fly into Florida yet and it will take a while for those who evacuated to get back. I could be wrong, but I'm betting Tuesday and Wednesday will still be great days for visiting. Have fun!!

I read that equifax is doing some serious dirty things.
Like sending all the affected clients a link, where they have to "waive" their rights to sue Equifax and go to direct arbitration as elected by Equifax. Once you accept said waiver..You can see how affected you are by the breach.
I read that if you used their credit monitoring service after you checked if you were affected you could no longer sue. I didn't bother with that since I have lifelock. If these companies can no longer protect peoples info anymore they should be done away with.

And Irma is stubbornly going West as I the satellite path shows.
No idea why the NHC insists its going to Florida o_O

But then, better safe than sorry.

I honestly believe Irma is going to go to the gulf, strengthen back to cat5.. and hit our sorry butts (Mexico) or Texas again :(

*edit*
Nevermind, Irma is starting to move west northwest. Like bouncing away from Cuba. Also.. christ.. Irma is huge!
The north tail is covering all florida.

Irma is going to smack the carp out of Florida.

The marathon ended at 24 ride attractions, food around the world showcase, a drink in Mexico and so so many character meet and greets. The longer the day went on the guests thinned even more. By about 4pm everything at the MK was a walk on just like most of Epcot was. There were not lines for food and wine at Epcot. Honestly the day was so surreal. We had so much fun. I forgot to look at the Fitbit and it is across the room (tired feet) but it is over 30,000 steps.

Tomorrow the parks are closed. The resort has a breakfast planned for all of us in Artist Point, The Country Bears and Brer Bear have been here since about 9pm. I'm kinda surprised the Store will be open 24 hours a day and so will the quick service Roaring Fork.

Sounds like you will need a day of rest. :)
