@donaldtoo as evidence that I don't judge parents who spend way too much money on BBB or that carriage stroller..... We've booked both CRT and the fireworks dessert party for our last night in the park :hilarious::hilarious:
I dont think its that bad to have a plunge from time to time.

I had that moment when I got my family into California Grill for Wishes on early January.

No worries!
Again, I never thought you were judging...to each their own, and awesome for y'all!
I wasn't judging either, just something we could have never afforded. If anyone can afford $300 strollers, and wants to, ultimately, it's nobody else's business.
If we ever came into a large sum of money, who knows, we might even do it for a future granddaughter...!!! :D ;)

I, genuinely, hope y'all have the time of your lives...!!!!! :joyfull: :)

:eek::greedy::confused::bawling::cry::brb::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Like I've said before adding to an IP as an addition is one thing, ie Rattatouille ride in addition to what's already there or what they've done with the Seas would/has been a good idea. Frostrom, although I love the ride is in the wrong place and don't get me started on imagination! Figment is timeless!!!

I get, to a point, the added IPs without minusing existing attractions, as in Rat. But, I'd much prefer the "hydrolators" and the "sea cabs" back at the Seas, with Nemo added somewhere else instead. Definitely agree with you on Frostrom.
And, yes, they have, essentially, destroyed Imagination.
Kinda' ironic, isn't it...
Disney destroying imagination...?!?!?!?!?! :cyclops:

Whelp, parents and brother are home. And they brought me home a Guardians Mission Breakout t-shirt. My brother also now has a Rocket Raccoon plush. I don't think he's put it down since they got here, although to be fair, he evidently got it yesterday at the Aulani gift shop.

They're all quite cranky jet lagged now. I don't think any of them really slept last night. I actually got up quite early myself. 8 am.

Nothing wrong with splurging, and if that is the way you want to go, go for it. My family wouldn't personally...we're also there twice a year, so fireworks and eating in the castle...not really a huge deal for us. When we splurge, we do it at some of the restaurants like Blue Bayou in DL or Le Cellier...and some people really wouldn't go for that. To each their own. :)

@donaldtoo my grandfather died from this. They said the walls of his heart were so thin they were trying to sew the holes back together and they just kept making bigger holes. I was eight at the time and they told us he died of a broken heart.

Sympathy like.
So sorry to hear. My deepest condolences.
But, if it had to do directly with his heart, it may have been something different than a Triple A.
Those happen in the aorta, below the heart, in the abdomen.

Again, my deepest condolences.

None of us have ever been before, and we don't plan on going back for at least a few years. I'd love to try Le Cellier but definitely not with a two year old, lol!!

Fireworks...again. Poor Belle is not a fan.

I just want to go to sleep :cry::cry::cry:

I was a child and my parents weren't really great at explaining things to us in a realistic factual manner. It was definitely the same thing as John Ritter died from. And thank you :) we carry him with us and keep the traditional he gave us alive.

Yes, I understand. There's no point in going into major details with young children; my folks never did either...grandpa died of a broken heart was a plenty sufficient explanation for your age at the time.
And, you're welcome! Family tradition is very important to us too...! :)

You've never been? You are a rare and special breed that we should impart all knowledge to! ;)

Le Cellier actually isn't a bad one for kids. The way it is built, sound doesn't travel really well, so even if you've got an impatient child, they likely won't disturb. So if you end up going back in a few years, it's worth considering. A lot of people don't like it compared to the way it used to be, but we've had nothing but good experiences there.

We go backpacking quite a bit (well not since we had a kid, but before that we did) and we prefer a filter but always had iodine tabs as a backup.

I learned the difference between palatable and potable in the military. We bleached all our water and even though you add very little bleach, it still tastes like you should be doing laundry in it instead of drinking it. And sometimes you'd even have to filter it through nylons after bleaching it to get the sticks and leaves out. But it was potable so we drank it :hilarious::p

Yep, same here. We could have also bought the iodine taste neutralizing tabs, but, never cared enough. It was purified, and it was wet, so, no matter what the temp, we drank it...!
:hungry: ;) :)

What is special about leCellier?
Most of the deluxe restaurants for me arent worth the exorbitant price that Disney asks.

California Grill would be special because of the gorgeous view of the lagoon and magic kingdom (and fireworks).
