I saw that. The roads here are horrible today. My house looks like Cinderella Castle when they put on the fake ice. Except it's real. I haven't gone out to see my car yet, but it is likely a metal popsicle. Most people were smart and stayed inside.

We got in before all this started last night and we've stayed in.
I am not in bed. I am sitting on my bed, which has fresh sheets on it and is made, with a cat on it. I have leggings and a sweatshirt on, so I'm good. Might go play a videogame in a few.

I pretty much don't use the expressways unless I have to. I rarely use I-95, which is where that crash occured. I primarily will use the Beltway (695) and sometimes I-83, but 90% of the time, there's no need for me to use an expressway.

I was awake at 4:30 am I just couldn't sleep any more, but I didn't get up until I heard the snow plow go past a couple times. When I knew it wouldn't be piling up any more snow I got up and waited for hubby to wake up so we could get it done together. I would rather get it done early so I have the rest of the day to relax.

The metal popsicle thing just reminded me (out of nowhere) the quote of bruce willis in the fifth element.. "negative, I'm a meat popsicle"
