So just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I walked out of my class today, after already feeling asthmatic-tight, I walked into what was a cloud of fumes, smelled like paint fumes. After a trip to the emergency room and getting home eight hours later, I still do not feel great, but at least I can breathe. Now for two doctor's appointments (primary care and allergist) tomorrow and a trip to my school's security office for a LOT of paperwork. And no class because I have to let that building air out until I go back in there.

And now, before I, on a whim, decide to jump in the car right now and take a road trip down to the Texas coast for some freshly caught shrimp (I could get there in time for the first haul of the day and have had a healthy boiled shrimp breakfast before I call out "sick" - *cough* *cough* - or, too "well" to come in to work!!! ), I better call it a night...!!!

Probably. I guess she'll have to figure it out when she gets to the class. The bad thing is that the class starts the day we leave, so she'll have to get orriented that morning before losing her Wifi connection.

I figure if she needs to take the time for it, she's best off doing it the first day since we weren't planning on parks that day anyway. But if she does have to get it done a bit during the day, I can go in DCA and possibly hop in singles for RSR.

WiFi connections are now available on planes. With that distance/hours it might be worth the $20 or less.

So sorry. Paint sets my family off too. We try to paint during windows open weather. Surprised they don't do that during the summer months.

My first class got cancelled today, and I was already here when it got cancelled. So I thought, "Well, what if I go get my cap and gown?"

I now have my cap and gown, a souvenir tassel, and a frame for that very expensive piece of paper that I am about to receive. Because I feel like that very expensive piece of paper should be framed.

And a teddy bear with a cap and my school's name. And an Alum mug. And an alum cling for my car.

It seems like only yesterday you were graduating high school. I'm not ready for this yet! Yes I know you've worked very hard and deserve all the wonderful adventures you have coming but, I'm not ready for you to be out in the real world. Congrats and have a wonderful adulthood

We like it too. Watch it every Friday night. My father is basically Mike Baxter in so many ways. And I've seen the look Mike gets on his face when he just does not understand the women in his life on my father's face. Multiple times.

@Gabe1 If you have Netflix, every episode minus the current season is on Netflix. I recommend starting with the second season. First was okay, second is better.

Well, heck yea!!!
Those are just not something we traditionally eat at any of our Holiday meals.
Now, on Christmas Eve when we all gather at my folks house for a huge feast (and then later attend midnight mass together), among other dishes, we completely gorge on several pounds of boiled jumbo peel-and-eat shrimp with c ocktail sauce...sooooo darn good...!!!!!

We do 7 fishes each prepared a different way for Christmas eve no shrimp or scallops due to allergies. I change it up a bit depending on what the seafood selection at the store is like the day before. Usually a soup, salad, something fried, something stuffed (last year mushrooms stuffed with crab, a pasta dish a dish with lemon sauce and something with cocktail sauce. We start eating around one and finish with cookies and sometimes a cake and/or pie by 9 or so.

I hope you're better now. Sounds like they didn't follow proper ventilation procedures when they were painting. That's lousey.

@donaldtoo , I forgot to comment the other day about the work that you and your company did on that church restoration. What a gorgeous church that is--no wonder your mother was proud of you!! (Note: @Cesar R M , your mom would love that church, too, as she is drawn to older, beautiful churches.)

Just keep in mind that not nearly every place that serves tacos in this country is Taco Bell...there are plenty of proper/authentic tacos served in this country...especially in my state...!!!

Plenty here in NC as well. Taco Bell is just cheaper, but, I do find their stuff tasty, not the worlds best, but, not awful.

It's on Hallmark channel every weekday evening from 6pm to 9pm. in rerun. It is preceded by 3 hours of Home Improvement. It doesn't take too long before you have seen the entire series of both. Only takes about 3 days to go through an entire season.

It's also on Freeform during the morning on weekdays. Thst's where I catch them occasionally. I wasn't a Home Improvement fan but like LMS.
