Good morning everyone! Busy Saturday around my house with Halloween and all. So, I didn't get back to you all.

And then yesterday, after church, I went to the farmer's market and rested for much of the day until we watched The Shining in the evening, which I found to be a very disappointing film. (There is clearly something wrong with me.) I have a full blown cold. Ick! But I'm sure the low key day yesterday helped.

So now...it's off to the races. Time to play ketchup and see what all you lovely people have been up to.
It seems like they've mostly been tagging the heck out of @figmentfan423 . I think she's "it".

Every year, I buy candy to hand out and every year, we aren't home. We both like to take the kids trick or treating. I feel a little guilty about that but I figure when they are older, we will take our turn of sitting at home and handing out the candy. If I could just remember not to buy the treats...lol Oh well, I guess I will just have to eat them. It's a tough job...
I bought one bag just in case, though we've never had trick or treaters here before. But I forgot we were going to be at my in-laws' on Halloween....so now I have a bag of candy sitting here.

In high school, my best friend and I started a tradition of going out to a cheap restaurant together on Valentine's Day with whoever else wanted to come and it continued on for years. And it didn't matter if we were dating someone at the time, we kept doing it. (They could come along too, if they wanted.) I loved it. Years after we had gone our separate ways, we happened to be living in the same city this one year during February 11 and guess what we did? Found that same restaurant there and took each other out for V-Day.
Sounds like a nice tradition! We only had 2 restaurants in town....neither of them particularly...good. I just hated the reminder that I was considered a "loser" by most of my class. Of course NOW, I'm happily married and while we don't really celebrate it (it's not a big deal here), I know I'm loved, so it doesn't bother me at all. I'm rather indifferent to the holiday. Though...when I was in 6th grade, my mom gave me 3 carnations for Valentines day...Carnations are now my favorite flower because of that. I know most people view them as tacky and little better than weeds, but just the fact that my mom got me something..especially since we had so little money. It was really special that I got a gift, so they are my faves now.

I know, right?! But even if one of the kid's was sick, I would just go out and buy them a bunch of candy myself.
My brother and a friend and I went out Taert ro Kcirting. We would ask around about any sick kids who couldn't go out and we'd knock on their door and bring them a bag of candy. We'd also take some to friends, but the main purpose was to hit the houses where the kids were bummed because they were stuck at home instead of getting candy. It was fun, we got the experience of "trick or treating", but we were doing something nice, too.

We have had lots of animals end up in our neighborhood. They come down from the mountains. Foxes, deer, antelope, and we had a moose. That was the craziest of all. Oh, and bear. And snakes. We don't live in the country, but near the Rocky Mountains.
When I was in high school, I was asleep and in the middle of the night, something brushed the wall outside my bedroom. I was so scared and I was picturing a murderer or something out there...which is ridiculous because come on...the town only had 1200 people! So I finally got up the courage to look out and it was a deer, right under my window, and a few more in the yard. I felt like an idiot. In our town, we called it "rush hour" when there were 3 cars on the street. You were more likely to encounter a pronghorn antelope than actual traffic...I should have guessed it would be some sort of 4 legged creature with antlers!

I don't like Figment. I LOVE Figment. My love is in the same league as your love for Elsa.:D
What makes you think I like Elsa? This display in my room?

Or this?

Or this?

Perhaps it's my lock screen?

Or my tea cup that has Elsa on it?

Or my two shirts with Elsa?

Or the fact that I sang Let It Go twice in the car today and then came home and played it on the piano?

What is it?
