Negotiating round-abouts is an acquired skill. Sadly, most folks can scarsely drive in a straight line ....
Apparently we in Wisconsin are in love with round-abouts. They are putting them in everywhere. They put one in near where I work a couple of years ago and my first time going through it I had to go up the curb into the middle area because there was a little old lady driving the wrong way and she was coming straight at me. (Not trying to slam anyone who is little, old, or a lady - it was what it was... ;)) They added some more near the expressway entrance in town and in the space of 4 weeks, three semi's laid over on their sides.

Unlike you guys, we really only have the Big 5 (TD/Canada Trust, Royal, CIBC, Scotia, and BMo), as well as credit unions, and a handful of virtual banks.
I am always blown away when travelling in the States, by the sheer number of different banks y'all have.

I do almost all of my shopping at small boutique stores, Costco, the Walden Galleria in Buffalo, and the Tar-jay across the road.

The US has a lot of banks, everything else is a monopoly or duopoly or a little bit more but I can't think up the name. I love TD Bank though. But I don't have them as a bank.

How is this for a new one.

My phone rings twice, as I go to pick it up....it stops. I look up the number to see it as a new staffing firm for me not to get a job from (who knew there were so many). But didn't leave a message. My philosophy is if the call is important they will leave a message.
