Got my new phone in the mail today. It's huge. Bigger than my mom's phone, twice the size of my old phone, and bigger than my old phone. Also going to be a learning curve. From a Samsung with a much older OS to an HTC with the newest Android operating system.
Have fun!
I too, am adjusting to my much larger phone.

Synched my iTunes yesterday, so that was a step in the right direction.
Hard to torment my kids in the car without my Meatloaf.

Yeah, concerning that ... I move the cat.
Or I sit on her.
Whichever.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't there used to be stuff to do?
I have a vague recollection of a flower cart (?), a caricaturist, and bistro tables and chairs.

Help - am I making this stuff up?

Yes, to all, but I rarely saw any "crowds" in that corner—a caricaturist is very nice, flowers are pretty in the cart, and the the little bistro tables and chairs are quaint. But, these do not exactly pull in the big crowds, if you get my drift. So, it's basically just one of those rare, quiet spots, and I've always liked it. :)

You can tell there was an eclipse last day. Maybe a full moon. Anyway, the crazies are out driving. Anyway, I brought my brother to school.

1. Americans can't do rotaries. For some reason a town near me decide to convert stop signs into a rotary. First of all, the rotary is too small for if a car is in the rotary, one has no clue where they are going. So today I was at the stop sign before going in and some lady (old) beeped at me. There was a car near me on the rotary and I didn't know if he was turning or what. Like seriously lady.

2. I took the motorway home afterwards. I passed a lot of cars to the left of me. Not going fast. Just doing 65. I was in the slow speed lane, 4 lane highway. Not a problem until this car comes into my lane like 500 feet back and speeds up so I slow down, not slamming on my breaks but just enough to not to pass the car on the side of me so the lady wouldn't get what she wanted, which is to change lanes again in front of the car in the line. Anyway, she changed lanes behind the car and had to wait until she had room. In the end...she caught up with me again. I was a half a mile ahead of her and it turns out she looked like an 80 year old lady who shouldn't be driving.

Rotaries can be dangerous, only because most people don't know the rules, and it ends up being a free-for-all, sometimes. The car(s) inside the rotary loop have the right-of-way; all other vehicles must yield. I never liked rotaries. I think it's just a way for cities to save money by not putting in traffic lights. :grumpy: Cheapies! :p

How is this for a new one.

My phone rings twice, as I go to pick it up....it stops. I look up the number to see it as a new staffing firm for me not to get a job from (who knew there were so many). But didn't leave a message. My philosophy is if the call is important they will leave a message.

I agree with you in principle. However, I do know that some headhunters have a list of candidates that they call and whoever answers, may score an interview with a good company. Because there are so many applicants out there, staffing companies don't have to leave a message; they just have plenty of people to choose from.

Sometimes, too, a company may need to fill a position quickly, and may call a staffing company to see if they can provide maybe 5-6 top people, who could come in on short notice for an interview.

I don't buy fancy phones anyway, but a news story this morning caught my attention. Apparently, a number of people have complained that the iphone 6 is pulling out their hair and their beards?! The news story was named Hairgate. This is another reason why I'll stick to my little phone that just makes phone calls only—never pulled out my hair! :D
