I'll be there next month. I go into the WoL pavillion during F&W Fest just for nostalgia purposes.
The building opens. The rides have not...not for years.is this ever actually open for events? I've always walked up to the rope at night and you can see things hanging from the ceiling with the lights on and such.

I still have hope. I think I'm the only one, though. And I don't have a great deal of it.
The building is still very much in use as the Festival Center. I haven't been in there in two years but at that time you can tell it didn't have a whole lotta love. Why?....cause the bathroom sinks don't have the motion sensors...you need to actually need to turn the knobs. Gasp!!

yeah, I knew the rides were closed for ages... but I didn't know they actually still used the building
I went inside briefly for F&G in March. Not much to see...

 Yep. That's the state he's in.
Not really, he does appear partially paralysed though.Flirty?
I have interior photos of WOL from this summer if anyone is interested. It's severely depressing. I used to love the bikes where you rode through Disneyland.
Unfortunately I think with the other thread on the WOL topic showing the permit to demolish certain sections (presumably finally get the extinct attractions removed) what little hope you had is gone. The building opens. The rides have not...not for years.

Yeah and all that signage etc. was completely removed not long after you saw it. It's completely bare now.I stopped into the pavilion during the 2010 F&W, more for curiosity then anything else. The signs for CC and BW were gone and the passage ways walled up, but other than that and the exercise equipment that was once there everything else was in place in the center of the building. The making of me and the others still with signage remained and F&W just worked around it. Even though I was not a huge fan of the pavilion itself, other than the two main attractions within, it was still very sad to see the rest of it deserted and quiet.
