Wouldn't the people in the queue see the ride everytime a camera flashes? It's not lie you are exiting through a store.... or do you.... (it's been a while :D)

On ride photos are fun, I don't see any downside to it. I think the blinding flashes in the re-entry tunnel at Disneyland add to the experience. I'd like to see similar blinding lights over at WDW. :)

EDIT: The lights don't affect the other parts of the attraction at all, so everyone knows.

agreed. When you ride DL's SM you don't see any lights flashing at all.Just stars! :D
