I don't like him. have you even noticed there are never faces?! It's becase he can't do them.
...unless you count the faces on the characters in clouds

Besides, different people specialize in different areas of art. Even if he can't do faces, that's fine. He paints lovely scenes

Hey, if it's massed-produced art that you are into, by all means, open up your wallet. I just find "perfect cottage scenes" with "streams" and "dear" too "cheesy" for me(don't forget the light that MUST be on in the cottage too!). I just think that there are sooo many wonderful Disney artists that never get any attention! There are really some amazing pieces out there. :)

That man does not have a creative bone in his body. He's a decent painter, but a horrible artist.

Hitler couldn't paint faces. But he painted lovely scenes.

We had the whole Thomas Kinkade debate in the first thread I posted back when he released the Cinderella castle pic, remember?

I would assume by now that forum members who are not fans of Thomas Kinkade would not waste their time opening a thread about one of his paintings. He is doing a series, so there will be more, and I will continue to post about them for people who are interested.

Comment all you like on the painting, positive or negative, but can we please not turn my thread into another Thomas Kinkade debate? We've been there and done that. If you really feel the need to debate the man's artisitc talent or lack thereof, maybe you could start your own thread in chit chat, since his style or abilities have nothing to do with Disney.

But where would the fun be in that?

It's a discussion board. I want to civilly discuss Thomas Kinkade's lack of creativity complemented by above average talent.
