What type of steak is the best at LeCellier?

My dad and I got the Mushroom Filet Mignon and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had!

I had a bite of my mom's steak, the 8 oz filet mignon, and it was also superb!

Can you substitute side dishes at Le Cellier? My eleven year old will be on the DDP with us and he loves steak but he only likes a plain baked potato or fries with it. Most of the steaks at Le Cellier have fancy side dishes.

We ate there for lunch and the side for our Filet Mignon was cream cheese mashed potatoes. Very much like normal mashed potatoes but creamier. And really, truly delicious. I think at the very least, you would be able to sub for those and I'd wager to say most anyone would like them. I'm one of the world's pickiest eaters and I enjoyed them immensely. :D

Although this trip will be my first at Le Cellier, In general..Filet is hard to mess up. I would go with that or New York Strip.

I thought the endless debate between the two was already implied. :lookaroun

All right, for an honest answer, I'm a sucker for the filet mignon.
