People don’t just want power. They don’t just want their agenda implemented. They want everyone, especially famous, glamorous people, to tell them they’re good and special and right. Otherwise they feel they’re being victimized.
Just saw that cross my desk. So Day The Earth Blew Up must be been "good enough" returns for them. Just shows that a movie doesn't have to earn lots at the box office in order for it to be "worth it" to a studio or distributor.
The problem with this statement is then why are you and many others here talking about all the hate she get from all over? If the majority have no clue about her, or the things she says, then why feed into the vocal internet minority? let the people who are going to be mad, be mad. It will then die off. Because if people really know as little about her as you say, it's going to have little to no sway on the boxoffice anyway.

Well because its largely coming from an echo chamber that is fed by the media that keeps the story going. So it then gets inevitable discussed here, and rise and repeat. If it wasn't brought up so often here by those that think it'll have an impact then it wouldn't be discussed and would largely die off here.
Unfortunately too many think they are the "pulse" of the public, when in fact many are barely the "pulse" for their small circle if that. I've seen it range from everything from Parks to the MCU to even SW.
Possibly. But shelving Coyote was TREMENDOUSLY unpopular with a lot of powerful people in Hollywood. Acquiring and exhibiting it would earn huge amounts of good will, which might be worth the money for a distributor even if the box office is weak. The press coverage of the story would also earn a lot of positive PR for Ketchup even outside of Hollywood. Finally, when Zaslav falls (likely pretty soon) there’s a good chance his successor realizes how important the Looney Tunes brand is to WB - and guess who has a couple of high-profile pieces of content ready to license back to the studio.
That certainly has changed as CEO’s are most definitely voicing their opinions and more public then ever
You are correct it does not bother me…. One of the greatest aspects of this country is freedom of speech…. Which celebrities are entitled to just as much as the rest of us…. A few did cross the line for me But it is more from actions rather then speech…. Bryan Singer, Kevin Spacey, R Kelly, Mel Gibson…
The Rachel Zegler hate started before the election when certain angry ragers unearthed her comments about the original film…. As they searched for any controversy to disparage the film because someone thought Rachel did not have the right look… with by all the review blurbs so far she is the highlight of the film

No, WB can't release it if they wrote it down, but they can sell it.
Maybe, but if it was still a viable popular franchise you'd think that WB themselves would have done something with it before even all this was happening.
Zaslav is narcissistic, vindictive, and embattled. He came up with a (bad) plan for WB content and, in the face of a huge backlash to killing Coyote, doubled down by turning away several interested offers to buy the film lest its critical and/ or commercial success make him look bad.
