Imagineering said last week they hadn't yet built a physical model of the Indy ride. So I suspect Encanto will be open before Indy.

That would allow Disney to put Encanto as LLSP and make a ton of money. Then when Indy is ready, that would be the LLSP, making more money.

This system has 8 scheduled named changes between now and the opening date of Tropical Americas. I predict Encanto will be FPPPP and Indy will be EO768-04

Can someone explain how this is considered “an expansion” when there is no net-new attraction count? Are we bending the definition to suit the “$60 billion” statements?

The footprint of the land will be bigger and the capacity will shift from "bad capacity" to "good capacity" in as much as Encanto is expected to be more popular than Primeval Whirl. We also tend to forget that Primeval Whirl actually existed.

I think it pretty consistently has a 30-minute wait or thereabouts? The queue isn't necessarily filled to capacity, but it doesn't seem like it dips into the 10- or 15-minute territory that denotes walk-on very often.

Like the waterworld stunt show, its a theme park attraction that managed to outlive the IP that inspired it. This is called the "Rodeo Burger effect". Named after the sandwhich burger king introduced to promote Small Soldiers. A movie only Joe Dante purists remember.

1. The footprint of the park that is used for guest enjoyment will increase with some previous BoH area being taken over for the Encanto ride.

2. The Encanto ride and the carousel should be providing extra capacity compared to what they are taking over.

TWDC never promised that the $60B capex wouldn't be used for rethemes or rebuilds.
