I'm not sure. He hasn't elaborated on it much since his livestream and I haven't asked myself, since he seems annoyed at the whole panic over it.Is it the “parking” stuff?

If they use some of the mirror effects at DCA to a grander scale it would work incredibly well and make the space feel largerGotcha, maybe they can make it work but that seems disappointing for such a massive space in the movie.
The story on BlogMickey was that they were set to announce it but pulled back on the location at the last minute. It’s also not that crazy to believe they haven’t made a decision. As dumb as that sounds, we have seen weirder things happen.
I think if that is true, then saving muppets already is a possibility, especially if it’s a last minute thing. The story on BlogMickey was that they were set to announce it but pulled back on the location at the last minute.
Yeah. Idk man. Could be either way. Like what if he’s wrong? He’s putting a lot of faith in his sources.I'm not sure. He hasn't elaborated on it much since his livestream and I haven't asked myself, since he seems annoyed at the whole panic over it.
If he's wrong, he'll likely turn and join the fight to save them. He said that if the Walt animatronic turns out to use AI and/or put words in Walt's mouth that he never said, he'll join the side of people who are against it. He seems to be in a "wait until we know for sure" sort of mindset for everything, which is definitely more cool-headed than he's been in the past.Yeah. Idk man. Could be either way. Harry’s is included. No idea if it will actually have sushi or something more playful.
Would love to see some creative sushi rolls themed after monster tropes- appetizing ones, at least.Harry’s is included. No idea if it will actually have sushi or something more playful.
The Disney Magic Kingdoms mobile game changed the name to "Cyclops Sushi", but that's also a cheap mobile game. Disney may pay the money to have the restaurant match the movie.Random question: is there any issue with using the Harryhausen name for the restaurant? Obviously it was in the movie but would they have to get some sort of approval from Ray’s estate?
Well it is fairly compact as coasters go. We know that from where it was previously going on Soundstage 1, and looking at the model.I really hope it’s a big and expansive coaster and area. I don’t want to see a half baked version of such a potentially great attraction. The factory is huge alone.
Put Monsters where the Animation Courtyard is. If they hadn't built Woody's Lunchbox where they did, they'd have an easy walkway to tie the two lands together. Could have put GE where the Indy stunt show is (plus some parking lot space, which they could have reconfigured differently since it was going to be changed anyway, or just built a parking ramp), so they could have tied that together with Star Tours while retaining the ability to use the LMA/Backlot space for other things. Better use of the land in TSL, as was pointed out when it was first announced, would have helped space utilization as well.Muppets aside, what's wrong with that? Of there is indeed a new show to replace muppets, plus a new D ticket attraction with 1600-1700 pph, and theming to tie it together, that's a net gain for the Studios.
I'd prefer muppets stay. But if they do have plans for behind AC that they couldn't fit anywhere else, I can see why they would do this.
Still, I wonder if it would have been feasible to have the entrance to Monsters just beyond muppets, so you keep Muppets courtyard and everything there, but just build new beyond that.
What kind of ride times should we expect?Well it is fairly compact as coasters go. We know that from where it was previously going on Soundstage 1, and looking at the model.
I’ll be curious to see how much they can pack in there. Cosmic Rewind uses its gravity box really well while Tron definitely feels like it could accommodate more ride in the box.Well it is fairly compact as coasters go. The lift should have a pretty awesome show scene but we will see how much they can do once gravity takes over. Will they put AAs on tracks alongside the train during some portions or will it be screens and static figures? Probably depends on the intended thrill. This should really be a suspended family coaster. What kind of ride times should we expect?
I think we'll be somewhere in the 2 minute territory. What kind of ride times should we expect?
So basically tron? I like tron! Don’t think it’ll be good for dhs capacity wise, ESPECIALLY with the fact that it’s gonna be on virtual queue for a long time likley.I think we'll be somewhere in the 2 minute territory.
I enjoy more before because knowing stuff is replacing stuff just hurts my stomach enough is enough it's annoying. I get the parks needs to grow and evolve but why can't they let us be happy and excited for something without half of ourselves being loomy.Ok. Legitimate question. What is going on with so many people who haven't posted for years suddenly becoming quite active since or around this D23? I've looked at a good number of profiles like this in these threads. I'd genuinely like to know, as it just seems very odd.
The walking space is very similar to Diagon Alley.Agree with everyone saying this shouldn't be called a "land" especially when we don't know if there is any sort of second attraction planned - I'm guessing there isn't. Based on the configuration of Grand Avenue I think the Monstropolis theming in that area will look a little weird and really compact between Galaxy's Edge and Star Tours. Honestly, might as well just keep MV3D in place on the side and just build the coaster/building that extends into the parking lot and put the sushi restaurant in. Think it'll look tacky either way.
Some thought guessing here suggests that in order to get this land up and running quickly that using an area with existing buildings may help speed up the project while reducing some costs instead of building everything from scratch. Why is demolishing the stunt show for Monsters not under consideration? It's older, expensive to run, and Indy will have a new home in AK anyway.
