They kept Grand Ave. muppet fountain and have recently refurbished it.

They added one to Remy plaza.

JoW is a fountain replacement trading a large show for smaller interactive engagement.

Illuminous features top notch fountains.

EPCOT got a brand new entrance-fountain.

Pandora was built with impressive waterfalls (not counting the fake one featuring cotton on a wheel).

The Morocco fountain was retained despite the horrific re-tiling.

A water feature was included in the Rise queue (should have been visible from the main walkway, tho)

Haha, no, I'm probably just still bitter about that new wonderful Epcot planter in the middle of the World Celebration. And I think they should built some in Studios park in Paris, but I think a lot regarding that park and the decisions made there.

I remember a while back we were hearing from insiders that Indiana Jones is going to be really amazing and not just a "cheap" overlay. I'm wondering if any insiders can chime in, is this still the consensus for this ride? Like major E-ticket potential with AA's and huge sets?

I'm a huge Indy fan and have wanted a ride in my home parks forever, and I want to make sure to keep my expectations in check over the next 3 years.

I remember a while back we were hearing from insiders that Indiana Jones is going to be really amazing and not just a "cheap" overlay. I'm wondering if any insiders can chime in, is this still the consensus for this ride? Like major E-ticket potential with AA's and huge sets?

I'm a huge Indy fan and have wanted a ride in my home parks forever, and I want to make sure to keep my expectations in check over the next 3 years.

The versions of Indy I have been on only offered like two animatronics and a couple moving set parts(snake) with projections and lighting effects... It is still a great ride...I am hopeful that this version will be specially plussed up, but even if not, it will be a great ride and a great replacement for Dinosaur...Especially it it includes a queue as fabulous as Disneyland's version...

Hopefully all the announced projects are actually "shovel ready" so they can meet their aggressive timelines. I kinda give them a pass on Tron due to the stupidity of the pandemic (and the 185 year Epcot overhaul to some degree), but if they are actually serious about these 2-3-4-5 year timelines, that'll be more impressive to me than the attractions themselves. Please don't give us a dumbed down 7DMT or sub 1 minute door coaster.

No animal habitats would be my only gripe.

I would love for AK to add capacity but we pretty much knew DinoLand wasn't permanent. It was never even supposed to last as long as it did. A shame we are losing dinosaurs altogether but at least it's for South America and something that doesn't fit at all.

If they aren't changing the ride mechanics at all - which it doesn't seem like they will - or the structure of the ride building, then this could be a pretty fast addition. As a comparison, it took 16 months to convert ToT to Mission Breakout in DCA and this is kind of similar, though will has more physical sets to install.

yeah but the queue building, set pieces, landscaping and rock work will take some time... IJ Adventure at Disneyland has an epic queue...going from jungle to temple... It is beautiful...I hope they do something just as detailed....

I don't think they got rid of Fountain of Nations for the sake of getting rid of it. But if they were going to put in Moana: Journey of Water, it's likely they couldn't have both that and the fountain.

I tried to figure out approximately how large the Encanto show building is.

A = Carousel
B = Restaurant (previously Restaurantosaurus)
C = Fountain
D = Indiana Jones entrance
E = Shops (previously Chester & Hester's)
F = Encanto entrance
G = Encanto extended queue ?

The building is cut off on the left side of the model, but the top has a short green wall on the roof, so I assume that this is actually the end of the building. This is about in line and parallel to where the Dinosaur show building starts.

The white area on the map below is where the Encanto show building would go as seen on the model. This is almost 1.75 acres and that is about the same size as the Dinosaur show building. On the top there are some backstage buildings in the way, but on the left side it lines up nicely with a parking lot.

Any possibility for animals in the new area? Obviously, holding pens would have to be built to keep them at night. Piranhas probably wouldn't be a good idea, though.

Well I guess I was way off. I will admit I was wrong. I guess this means the encanto attraction at magic kingdom is no longer a thing. Good. Cars land and villains land is perfect. Adding Encanto into that mix was like combining cheetos covered in chocolate. It must mean also the encanto show at epcot is not doing as well as hoped. Adding more rides to animal kingdom is a good thing but we will see if disney tries to get everything they promised done and not cut a lot of the budget.

The temple looks like a mix of Rosalila Temple (Copan), The Temple Of The Grand Jaguar (Tikal), and a few of the temples at Palenque (See below).

Yes. Same with ITTBAB to Zootopia. And seemingly Muppetvision to Monsters. And even RoA/TSI to Cars.

They literally are investing billions of dollars in WDW in the next few years and getting marginal gains to capacity. It’s insane.

Super-fancy A1000 Tiana animatronics that do nothing but stand there and flail their arms with a bored expression on their faces does not make up for replacing animatronics with screens, figures with about as much movement as most of the figures in the Little Mermaid ride, and UGLY CGI animation.
