With Guardians finished up, anyone heard any news on this?

With all COVID restrictions lifted, I would have to think they would want to get this opened soon. But who knows with Disney.

I can’t believe we haven’t gotten any update on this since the Epcot Experience presentation on it. So it has been since Oct 2019.

depending on how much work is finished inside i wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to cancel this and go with doctor strange instead, think it depends on how well multiverse of madness does, we already got doctor strange merch in epcot which normally wouldn’t mean a lot but i think it’s telling it’s in epcot and not dhs just a thought

Theres Doctor Strange merch in DHS & MK as well. It's more that they don't have enough stuff to put on the shelves. I can't see Strange or any other Marvel properties going anywhere else but DHS.

Nothing about this image suggests that. If they were in the process of installing something more permanent to mitigate the appearance of the area looking toward the pavilion, you might have something to go on, but there’s literally just temporary chain link fencing covered in green mesh.

Except... Play has actually been in construction for years and we know from photos that it's seemingly almost done?

It’s neither shelved nor canceled.

According to the park map it's still the "Future" home of it....

They probably have to figure out alternatives to it due to it being a "Hands on" experience and switch it to something else..

Based on this bioreconstruct picture where is the future entrance going to be. They cut off the old entrance with new plants but that seems to be the only possible access from this side.

Again, they were always going to completely re-pour the path. The concept art shows it as a straight diagonal instead of the existing curve. They’ve just put some temporary low plantings in where it will eventually join up when redone.
