I saw the first Ice Age in theaters (they re-released it for the 20th anniversary) and, honestly, I still think that franchise would be a much better choice for a Dino-Rama replacement than Moana.

Not only would it continue the "prehistoric animals" theme, but... come on, you can't tell me that scene where they're sliding around in the ice tunnels wouldn't make a great ride.
I had that same idea a while ago! However, I nowadays prefer my new idea of DinoLand being integrated into one half of a new Australia land, since Disney's Animal Kingdom has been begging for an area that features the animals and culture of the land down under.

I think Fox tarnished the reputation of that movie with how many awful sequels they pumped out. If it was just the great first movie & the decent sequel, I think that series would be more fondly remembered. But I think the reaction to an Ice Age attraction now would be a resounding "Meh", sadly.

True, but Disney's making that Buck Wild spinoff movie for Disney Plus shows that they're still perfectly willing to milk the franchise.

And hey, a resounding "Meh" is what my reaction to a Moana attraction would be.
I don't think Disney is going to promote animation it purchased from Fox in the parks.
Don't be so sure. I bet they're drooling at the chance to shoehorn something Simpsons into the parks and just haven't done it yet because of Universal.

Simpsons is absolutely the wrong property for a Disney Park...though lately the way they are mixing up the themes and putting things in the most wrong locations possible...who knows. we might end up with a Simpson's Springfield Pavilion replaying Wonders Of Life...lol

Anymore, it's all about the merchandise... and as poor of a fit as Simpsons would be, and as poor as the series has gotten (with regards to new content), I'd imagine the merchandise still sells pretty well.

Wrong IP. FUTURAMA for Tomorrowland. Bender plushies would sell like hot cakes.

I'll get a lot of hate for this, but deep down, I'd LOVE a Futurama makeover for Tomorrowland... when Simpsons was starting to struggle, this show started to surge and some of my favorite episodes of Futurama rank right up there with some of my favorite episodes of the Simpsons (and just as quotable as well!).

Futurama in Tomorrowland is the only "FOX IP in the Magic Kingdom" scenario that I'd be okay with. I love that show. It'd make a great dark ride.

Or they could always do a Futurama reskin of Star Tours.
That movie may have already been in the pipeline before the acquisition.
Yeah, but they could've cancelled it like they did Nimona and the other projects Blue Sky was working on.

It seems so obvious that it will probably never ever happen. Check out our new interdimensional package delivery system! Oops, what did we accidently bring through (cue funny Fry and Bender dialogue)
I would be concerned though with how the attraction would work without Bender's famous catchphrase, because you shouldn’t use the A-word in Disney Parks.

Further, Slurm has enough brand awareness already that it could be the marketable/vlog worthy drink they have been looking for (not quite as popular as butterbeer, but certainly more so than green milk)...
