Pumbas,

If you continue to have issue with my post and/or posting style please feel free to ignore my post or report anything you might find offensive.

Thanks.

Please keep posting as I find your point of view rare on these boards. And you make great points.

Doesnt this post sort of contradict the line I was commenting on in your previous post about petulance and foot stamping?

Irony perhaps? Given your comments on the contenst of others posts.

But post away chap, I dont seem to have as much a problem with your posting styleee as you do with mine. Ho hum.

I was just there all this past week and went on it at least 3-4 times and swear that it was moving. It seemed to me like it was definatley moving, but not the way I had remembered it so I am glad to hear i wasn't seeing things and it is on a new A mode.

We seem to misunderstand each other as it is my perception you take issue with my post and posting style.

If that is not the case I apologize.

Additionally, if you interpretted my post as foot stamping that is your choice but it was not my intent.

Regardless, neither of us are propelling the topic of conversation forward at this point, so feel free to have the last word as I am done responding to you specifically.

I'm also glad that Expedition Everest will be working properly. I've see "A" mode a couple times in the past. I think the last was October 2007 or November 2006. I'll be looking forward to seeing the new "A" in December!

Why do you think you should be entitled to this information beyond what is provided? It's been said here multiple times over the past few months that the problem was being looked at.

Because you and others have looked past the fact that it is fixed to complain that you weren't kept in the loop. Or am I mistaking your agitation with glee?

There are several post after yours detailing some very valid reasons for keeping it secret.

I never said it was wise, but thank you for making the statement at the end of my original post true.

I really don't care. It's fixed. They did what they were supposed to so I'm not going to go out of my way to say "Good job". But I'm also not going to stamp my feet like a petulant child and complain about the information not being provided in my predetermined acceptable timeframe.
I have yet to read a valid reason for keeping the repair of the Yeti secret. I have read other people's opinions, that is all. Yes he is finally fixed, and that is great. I don't know how many times I have to say that before it finally sinks in for you. You seem to be having a hard time grasping what I said, and why I said it. Let me give it one more try, please pay attention this time OK

WDWINSIDER seemed overjoyed that no one knew the Yeti was being fixed. I merely think it's bad PR to let people think you are only looking into a problem when in reality you are fixing it. That's it. No great conspiracy on my part to undermine the greatness of TWDC.

It would appear that if any stamping of feet is taking place in this discussion it is entirely on your end.

Does this mean we may wake up one morning and SSE will be complete?:lookaroun:lol:

I'm sure the possibility keeps the resident cynics here wondering.

I think Disney did not advertise the ongoing fix because it was a complex project using unique technology never done on this scale. I'm sure there are still unknowns so it's safe to be sure it's fixed before making an announcement. If they were to have announced it they would have gotten the typical, "why is it taking so long"! And if it breaks again people will complain endlessly about that also.

I'd feel like an idiot if I did nothing but complain all the time.

We can speculate forever on why they didn't say they were attempting to repair the Yeti. The fact is people had already been complaining for the past year about the Yeti being in B mode. That's a fact, and you can't spin it any other way.

I really am having a hard time understanding why any one would be opposed to letting folks no they were trying very hard to fix the problem. Yes you are right, if the Yeti breaks again people will complain again.

I would feel like an even bigger idiot if all I did was gush over how Disney could do no wrong.

My "gushing" is in direct proportion to yours and others over the top cynacism. WDWMagic is the success it is because people generally like to talk about the positive aspects of WDW which even 74 acknowledges are still there. I'm not saying there isn't a place for criticism but there are some posters that are extreme and childish in that respect.

Now at the other site you frequent, cynacism is crafted into an art form. And the number of postings and subscribers reflects that. People get bored very quickly with tired cynacism. So many of them post here to take advantage of Steve's numbers but I think the cynics will find themselves even further ostrasized and ignored. Because it has become so pathetic. Even desperate sounding.

You guys should start your own forum and then you could spend your days wallowing in each others misery.

Probably since they never officailly admitted it was broken. Not the kind of thing the press office would say is it?

Is it Fixed properly or has it been toned down?
